Cheers dude, it's been a godsend. As lonely as it gets, the ex did so much damage (confirmed by counsellor - "significant damage", "your symptoms are directly similar to a person leaving prison for the first time and trying to adjust to life on the outside") - that I'm definitely not ready to meet someone yet.

Robots? I've been featuring Bumblebee movie Optimus Prime as my deskbot this week and I don't think I'll be selling him so he's coming off the sales list. He's just a stunning piece of design and engineering, especially for a toy based on a movie design.

@barry You have exactly the same thought process around Eternals as I do, really surprised by the reviews from some.

Also, more Transformers need shields, it just makes sense. I loved ER Cliffy for it, more please HasTak!

Jesus. That sounds bad. Glad you were able to make a break from them dude. Hopefully you'll be in a better place soon.

And yeah, BB Optimus is an absolute beaut. Definitely prefer his Ion Blaster of the offerings with the WFC Primes.

I noticed Pulse have pushed back SG Starscream to 1st January now.

I got the email saying it had gone back to December 1st, but nothing subsequent. Sneaky sneaky.

Gonna wait until it hits Disney+ (or pirate it)...lack of funds and fear of maskless, covid-ridden idiots mean i wont be going to the cinema anytime soon

I wont post my thoughts on it, my views on films cant be trusted as I loved the Bay Ninja Turtle movies and I liked Captain Marvel :p

Bro. Seeeeeeeeeeriously, bro. Fraction and Aja's Hawkguy is one of my all-time favourite comics so I'm glad there's plenty of stuff from there in here - Tracksuit Draculas, The Clown, Pizza Dog - and I really like Steinfeld, but I just can't picture Renner playing 'this' Clint. That's why I'd always envisaged someone like Sam Rockwell in the role tbh. It does sound like an overall winner, though, so I'm sure any doubts will evaporate having seen it.

As for Eternals...I'm a huge Kirby nerd but this just doesn't do it for me, visually and aesthetically, but then, tbh, I was never overly impressed with the Eternals as 'characters' in the first place - they always felt like a bunch of nobodies, totally unlike the Inhumans or New Gods. Beyond their visual hook there was little of interest - the original comic was more about the ideas and the overarching story and the actual characters felt very secondary to that.

Seeing the muted look to everything and the way the Deviants are portrayed left me cold from day one and everything I heard about it since just didn't grip my interest - or if it did, it was quickly shot down (Dane Whitman, for example).

It felt to me like this was Kevin Feige's attempt as making an Oscar-nominateable 'movie' within the MCU to attempt to give it some kind of respectability, and I've seen little to change my mind.

I think it's going to be the first MCU flick I haven't seen at the pictures since Thor 2 - aside from Black Widow, which was entirely down to bad timing.

    That sounds... appealing.

Oh no not the list I- oh. OH. That list. Thanks :)

    ...

    :confused2

    SG Dirge!

Edit: Oh yeah I looked up the toy used for that female Optimus.... it was an exclusive... and the only ebay listing is over £500 :drunk  Haha hah hah... yeah, no.
Fings crossed Hasbro might do a deco homaging her off some future Optimus. I mean, maybe they'll do a RiD Optimus in Legacy or whatever at some point? I think that's who she's a redeco of?

    @Risk,
Maybe so but it makes it no less annoying as that subject is something of a sore point.

I do get a lot of toy and animal based stuff popping up on my feed as well though so it's certainly not all bad....videos of baby wombats are always awesome :D

Christ, I got mine at snail speed from Oz weeks ago... and they've just charged me £30 for something but I've no idea what because there's no email yet. Best guess is SG Goldbug.

Not much buying to mention although I am starting to consider an Abominus to re-cram the CW shelf I have just made a teeny bit of room on...seen a few online but might bolster the economy of o' little town of Halstead instead by buying it in a real shoppe.

This weekend TF endeavours are planned to include....fit God Neptune on the self same CW shelf, make a fossilizer combiner and squeeze that in too, and continue to ditch bits to afore mentioned loevely shoppe.

Later today we have a private appointment for my autistic son who needs a medicine review...we have been asked to pay with 100 quid...cash...they didn't say if a brown envelope was provided for it...

    Laters.

I got a "your order is coming sooner than expected" mail for Goldbug on the 1st, but then radio silence so I think you could be right !

Starscream is frustrating as I want to read the comics in order :(

Anyone know where might be good to get a deluxe kingdom Slammer? Is it a Pre-order stage or have places already had them?

Prices usually depend on the size of the figure and how much work needs doing or if Shapeways is required, I do have my own 3d printer so if I can source heads (such as for the Fulcrum above) the cost is negligable unlike with Shapeways itself.

time again usually depends on size of figure and how much needs altering.

I do my best to make sure my figures are still posable and transformable, there are occassionally rub spots but I try and get around those by careful sanding before priming for paint layers.

What do you have in mind?

SG Screamer (Icecream?) Is a weird one because my one from ID came end of August....? IMG_20210818_124751.jpg

So my "Safety" order with Pulse seems to be a bit pointless if they are just going to kick it forever down the road.

Today's entrants in the never-ending cavalcade of plastic tat is: IMG_20211112_122509.jpg

And somehow the other two I ordered (Johnny and Psychoman) didn't make the journey with them. More split cases Hasbro? Why?
