    With regards to AliExpress wait until 11/11 for Singles Day which is the world’s biggest sales day and there will be massive discounts. The official Hasbro shop on AliExpress has already got their discounted price ready for 11/11.

    Black Friday is also later this month so might be worth holding fire on any US imports if you are confident that they won’t sell out.

    Snake Eyes with Timber arrived.

    Snake Eyes is very nice albeit slightly tricky to get standing upright in a nice pose, at least compared to the ninja version, I think the overlays add a bit more weight which affects the balancing. Still a great figure with a nice collection of shooters including the iconic Uzi and the silenced pistol that originally came with the Convention Exclusive version of ninja Snake Eyes.

    Timber is no longer a mere accessory, he's a fantastic action figure in his own right, really, really well done :)

    Robots,
    Watched a transformation video of Newage Ultra Magnus and whilst I'm not a fan of the faux truck windows on the white Prime part it's otherwise looking like a buy.

    I really like how few parts the trailer breaks down into and the transformation for all of it isn't as complex as I initially thought and the fully armoured up Magnus looks cartoony without looking bloated like the MP version with the only obvious area of compromise being the back of the robot.

    @Brum Bot,
    Nice result there!

    Current odds on Ole being sacked appear to be 18 million to one although reports are doing the rounds suggesting they already have a verbal agreement in place with Brendan Rodgers which I'm hoping is BS.

    @Insurgent,
    Morph turning into Deadpool is the one I remembered, I thought the cartoon Phoenix Saga was better than the live action efforts.

    I got into comic based Marvel Legends as a way of keeping my intrest in Marvel going once I got bored of the movies and have got some great figures which're split between,

    X-Men (cartoon)
    X-Men (Age of Apocalypse)
    X-Force
    X-Villains
    Avengers
    Deadpool
    Misc including various Spidey characters, a couple of F4 characters, Hulk villains, Red Skull, Ultron and a few others.

    I've not gotten as many the past year or so but really enjoying the newer bodies with pinless joints and the chunky lads such as the recent AoA Sabretooth are always good value.

    The only MCU characters I have are the first GOTG movie wave, Rocket & Baby Groot, Mantis, Nebula and Yondu from the 2nd GOTG movie, most of which are not on display due to space restrictions.

    I also got the Fox-verse Deadpool releases which're displayed with my Hot Toys Deadpool.

    Thanks for the offer, but two should be plenty for that bit of my plans.

    To be fair, that cartoon did all of the storylines better than the movies. Potentially with the exception of Days of Future Past, but it's at least equal to. But there's a reason why it's such a beloved and remember cartoon. Like Spider-Man, Batman and so on, the toons of that decade did the characters and storylines justice, because they treated the kid audience as adults.

    I still get disappointed that Storm has never given any of those epic speeches/commands when using her powers in the other shows/movies. It added a flair for the dramatic/sense of poetry to her.

    I think I only saw Shockwave once in the wild, at full price. Different collection, different rules back then, so I never picked him up. Still, considering the crazy deals I've got on other figures, I'm just throwing this late tax in as part of the universal balance. And at least it's not much more than rrp.

    Damn, fingers crossed she's gonna be ok.

    Not only is it an obvious pun on being a duplicate of Battle-Cat, it *also* subtly echoes "duplicitous", referring to a deceiver, a liar... a faker. Top-tier work.

    I always feel for people who have to crank out dozens of names like this - I think Games Workshop staff must have it especially hard, all those grand units and heroes to name... another reason to respect Bob Budiansky who named the majority of the 84-85 TF cast at very short notice!

    It's true though, I do shoot loads! I also do archery.

    Wait.

    Would you believe that the Hawkeye trailer was the thing that finally pushed me over the edge to get Disney+?
