Looks like it needs batteries.

Attracted a lot of woke controversy upon release, substituting He-Man for Teela as the lead. Critics are calling it "The Teela Show". Do you think it's justified?

I mean, this one doesn't have the "He-Man" before Masters of the Universe in the title.

Well that's Stormont's free £100 converted into it's equivalent Smyths card that doesn't have a time limit.

Looked at Revelation Beastman again, I think that would need to be a fiver before I'd actually buy it

Speaking of such moves, the only thing Smyths have that I want is the £90 Lego Medieval Castle, and it's not worth that at all. So hopefully Black Friday and/or the new year will bring sales and new MOTU Origins/Revelation figures and TFs!

Watched a couple of stop motion videos with both scales of Zeta's Skydive and Air Raid and am leaning slightly towards giving the Legends ones a go ahead of Newage Ultra Magnus as I've never previously owned any Aerialbots before.

Very nice alt modes considering the size, decent robot modes and transformations are nice and easy.

It appears as if I'll have to buy an additional set to the main team containing a Superion figure to stick the jets to which isn't my ideal way of doing combiners but it does look pretty good.

It me the TR Perceptor owner who has spent all this time annoyed by his prodigious pinheads at his hips, to only recently realise whilst checking the Toyhax sticker gallery for him that one can just rotate the pin-tip ports to the front - but still decides to give him a pin camouflage paint job!
I thought I had some regular blue green but, nope, I must have decided against picking it up in case it didn't match out of the pot, luckily turns out emerald green and old sky blue (which likely means there's also a bit of extra white in there from me expanding it's lifespan a bit with some for a prior paint job) can be mixed to a decent-enough match for the job!
Also did a bit of chest deco unification, as for me the red/silver/red break up inside his chest lens wasn't doing him any favours.

And now I can't shake the idea that from the back it looks like Percy's wearing breakaway stripper pants/boots?!

I'm not surprised at that. The MP scale version has pants with a chest cavity. It came with Silverbolt, but he was significantly more expensive than the limb bots.

Pants and exoskeletons are the only way to get stability at scale, but it's not as necessary as you reduce the size. That said, they aren't going to redo the entire thing so something similar isn't that surprising.

The MP figures are great for combined mode, so if the smaller ones are just as good, you'll have a ball with them!

As per other posters they seem to be more inept than malicious.
Oh, and they usually have semi hidden vouchers that apply to all instock items (despite them saying otherwise) . Currently i think freeac gives free shipping and jptoys10 gives 10% off on zavvi uk site and EverySavingsIE for 15% off on the irish site.

Last I attended was back in 2015 for Auto Assembly, does that mean I'm also popping my TFNation cherry?

Just found out the pass I bought in 2020 was a weekend pass so I'm in for the long haul.

    Catch you all there hopefully!

@nice sideburns That looks like a lot logistically, especially on a tight time scale

Much like the work we’ve done here, it could provide the catalyst for a bit of a clear through….I found it quite liberating, if a little daunting

Well Shang Chi was epic, I rate it up there with Ragnarok and Endgame as one of the best MCU films.

I dont know Shang Chi from the comics so I didnt see anything they did wrong that proper fans my notice...but the fight scenes were great, the mystic stuff was awesome and it felt like a great martials arts film on magic steroids

EDIT: Oh I agree with others on Zavvi, they are legit and havent had any issues with them

Are the Monster Pretenders really under-appreciated for how good their weapons storage was? Look at Slog's backpack.

Agreed, it would have taken too much in the way of retooling to change it so I get why they literally just shrank the MP bots down so I'll have to wait and see how much it adds to the price of Silverbolt or whether it'll be a seperate release as initial listings for Silverbolt aren't showing that.

That MP sized figures are now even able to be reduced in size without really losing anything is a testament to how far technology is moving things forwards. I would guess that 3D printing plays a big part.

I would love for somebody to do the same for the Constructicons so the more detailed alt modes from the various 3rd party sets got translated into the smaller scale.....I expected Newage to do something like that because their carbots are super realistic but they got sucked into trying to out Sunbow Magic Square and ended up with a set that I feel is probably their worst outing.

    EDIT,
It appears as though the next Classified Series figure with an animal buddy will be at the same pricepoint as Snake Eyes & Timber.

My money would be on Mutt & Junkyard or Law & Order.

As much as I also want a Cobra Eel with robot shark I also don't as I fear that could get expensive :D

Ghostbusters: Afterlife was great! Definitely a good film for my first foray back to the cinema in... three years, give or take.

No spoilers, but as a fan of the original Ghostbusters (and II, I love II too. Too...) it was a great continuation of the story, and I was very satisfied with the end result.

It was the V2 that came with the shark which also had a torpedo firing gimmick.

The V1 would make a much nicer figure as the overall design and colour scheme would fit in better with Classified Series but there's also a part of me that wouldn't object to the V2 because of the shark and the ridiculous bright blue and green colour scheme that makes him more of a tropical Eel :D
