Cashed in all my train delays and the payments trickled in for last month, realised it adds up to a decent chunk of change (not remotely equal to the hours lost but hey) so Cynicus is on his way….. I don’t need the whole division, I don’t need the whole division….

I'm sensing you like things with S in the title :D

No such thing as too many Windblades!

    :jawdropper:
I might need to get in on that! Also fingers crossed APC do a Flamewar deco of their Arcee!

Starting to regret not getting that Tailgate when it was available. I really liked the PotP one when it came out but it's fast losing its lustre.

Oh yeah - minibot in Spotlight Jazz, absolute unit in MTMTE... then settled somewhere inbetween when Prime and chums went back to Earth after Dark Cybertron! I went with that third look for my shelves, picking the MP-scales X-Transbots Klaatu to stand with my CHUG:

    20211103_213019.jpg

...not a perfect fit but he's taller than Arcee, shorter than Soundwave. That'll do.

    it seems Ashley's ER Leader mix has been hiding in plain site on Game's website. doesnt come up when you search for transformers, but does when you search for earthrise. I ordered 2 a couple of days ago and got Prime and Astro, so fair chance of either it seems;

    Transformers Cybertron Earthrise Leader Assortment

Oh lordy... It's probably just wishful thinking, but what if the rumours are true and there is a Kenobi teaser trailer during Disney+ day on 12 Nov?

I just thought i'd mention for those who didn't notice Topcashback.com has had Global Cashback offers every friday until Thanks Giving, which is useful for international sites like Microsoft (for example). the last one had $4.00 back on a $10.00 spend. The UK site has been having them too but on other days and a bit more randomly.

Argos sale 2022 is likely going to be your friend for the Ark, I'm holding off buying Rodimus as I don't really see £70+ of value in him for me & I'm sure Hasbro will bully me into paying full price for the Shattered Glass one at some point.
    -------

The ARK is "alright" - Mine is sitting at the foot of my bed looking all Ark like - It's nice enough - but I think it really does need gap fillers to finish it for anyone who uses the vehicle mode "at all". I like it enough that I might consider buying a repaint (so long as it's not a lazy Tidal Wave name slap) as I want a proper Titan Class Titan Wave at some point not some IDW space ship one they bodge up out of the Ark mould. But actual Tidalwave be it in PS2 Videogame colours or Animation colours that can split into 3 vehicles that I can use with Minicons and Micromasters & actually play with properly with the play value of Tidal Wave..

Anyway Like I said the Ark is nice enough for what it is - though I think he needs some sort of weapon. and I really wish the turrets moved. I probably like it more than Omega Supreme anyway.

    TRUTH!

Finally got round to watching venom 2. I enjoyed it but i can see why other folks wouldn't. The eddie/venom hanging out i feel was done much better in the first one, but the final battle was done much better here and carnage was a far better villain than whoever the first movie had. Of all the villains though, carnage was one who needed that 18. The 15 feels too censored for that guy, as brutal as he was.

And that mid credit scene..... surprised they were able to keep that under wraps all this time.

LEGO landed today, and muggins 'ere forgot to factor in school commute traffic so squeezed in a Max TM Peg repair before departing on a hair-raising close to late bus ride in (new rule: set off at the same time you would for walking in, bud, seeing as the bus services have apparently been reeled in again, even on the major route I live on!).
    Worth the risk though!
    DSC_0115.jpeg DSC_0117.jpeg
Having previously shored up the friction with an edge-dabbing of super glue, I filled the drilled hole with another bleb of the stickiest stuff, and a dab on the inserting end tip of the 15mm-ish whip antenna cut segment.
Then applied my super-secret technique, I used spare Fangry as the insertion implement to drive the new post in.
This actually turned out to be a bit too tall in comparison the the intact peg on the opposite arm, so I carefully tamped it down a bit more by eye before using SFangry to make sure I brought it back to near enough true straight before leaving it to cure.
To my amazement a quick check with a mark on a small styrene sheet off cut after getting home post-work tonight has proven it's almost exactly at the right height! I guess the Mod Gods guided my hand!
Now I'm internally debating whether to apply a bit of Toy Polloi Wabi Sabi philosophy to leave it be, or to try painting it up as it does work as fine as a footpeg but it is a smidge looser than the surviving stock post, so maybe it can have a little a blue paint, as a treat?

My resin came before the silicone so had a test mix, made too much so did a load of push moulds. That dead end head is the caulking mould again and resin the rest are playdough.
