It's true though, I do shoot loads! I also do archery.

    Wait.

Would you believe that the Hawkeye trailer was the thing that finally pushed me over the edge to get Disney+?

Thanks for the words guys .
Just talked to my sis. She's Ok-ish, as is her partner. They're both double jabbed so hopefully be over it within a week.

Where did you order him from? I put in a punt with Pulse, and not heard anything.

I don't know if Halle Berry could have had the commanding voice needed to make the lines work, but that video shows it would have worked.

So, turns out I have had to go to Scotland. Insert teeth grinding emoji.

    Hope she's alright, man!

Belated Happy Birthday, my good fellow! And also to @dee'

Lousy, frustrating news. I hope you're all ok and all goes ahead as planned!

    What this lad said!

Gordon Bennett! I'm hoping that job completes on schedule, if not before.

yes indeed. I would have never imagined that IKEA would base an entire product line on Micron Legend, but here we are. I can't wait for their Enhönring stand.

It appears I have missed loads in this thread... do I even try and catch up? In any case hope your sister gets better soon @Lothar Hex. It seems that recently more people I know directly have been catching the 'Rona, as opposed to friends of friends. If that makes sense?

Anyway I'm not kidding when I say I've been shooting (archery) loads, I'm usually doing 3 times a week and am volunteering time to the club as I am a member of the Commitee as well. My bow Boomer is now a bit of a beast, and yet still strictly an 'intermediate bow'. I even put a lot of effort in getting a £20 bike stand from Aldi (one of their specials that sold out in a flash) to use as a Bow stand (for tinkering)

Yeaterday I actually joined in a 'World Ranking' competition, if I shoot well enough 'in theory' I could qualify for the Olympics... but let's be honest I'm nowhere near that good. Anyway the comp was my 3rd ever competition (outside the club) and it was great fun! As an 'Olympic Recurve' archer I was shooting at one of those 3 spot targets. Each one of those 3 spots is 20cm wide and only rings 6 to 10. Basically they're really hard to shoot at.

    20211107_095306.jpg

Problem was I noticed I had a mechanical failure just before the halfway point... this is my long rod (pnaaar) extension... which is supposed to be straight..

    signal-2021-11-07-11-04-35-150.jpg

Yes, it's true. Archery is full of euphemisms. I had to remove the part from my setup during the shoot, which aside from being a minor disaster changed the balance of the bow affecting my shooting. Anyway it was hard to maintain focus afterward and only shot 491/600 but considering what happened a 8+ point average was OK. One fella there shot 580+ though!

    *gasp*.

And yes, the sharp eyed among you may have noticed that the central barrel of the part has 3 Transformers stickers on it, two leftover stickers from the MakeToys Battle Tanker set and one of G1 Soundwaves red stickers. On hindsight though I only stuck those stickers on to cover up some visible damage on it... which means it was probably going to fail at some point... just unfortunate it happened in a major competition.

    OH WELL.

So... uh... I'm reading a Sonic fan comic on DeviantArt and I notice something rather strange on the latest page:

If you think that's funny, also take a look at page 2-17. ;)

I am shocked. So not all the blackwidow all the time?

Surely a dander to the old country is cause for celebration?

Still though, would be good to see how you rank against the olympians.
