Well that's an Evil-Lyn and Teela pre-order cancelled and then a cheeky click and collect for tomorrow at Smyths.

Bit of a saving made there!

I do like my toy robots to scale nicely with one another. Just been fiddling with Selects Rotorstorm and realised you can swing the feet further down and inward, rather than just centre them to the cockpits. He's a little harder to pose/stand flat as a result, and if you know what you're looking for it looks odd... like his nan ironed his flares flat. BUT it adds an easy 10mm to his already "tallest modern deluxe" height, bringing his eyeline pretty much up to the level of an Earthrise Seeker!

    20211103_165810.jpg

So I guess now I can hunt down Siege Spinister for my Scavengers :D

Inadvertantly continuing the nan-themed post, this seeker is the exact colour of my maternal grandmother's ceiling after a lifetime of heavy smoking.

Name ideas: Nicotron. Thundertab. Fagstorm. Ciglonus.

Clear Caulking silicone and washing up liquid water is definitely a winner for budget push mould making

Current "wisdom" is that Mattel's top-line Sculpting team the Four Horseman sculpted the better looking figures in the Line (the Baddies and Mossy) and that un-named in house minions did the average to mediocre job on the others.

Sort of ironic that the title character is the one that looks the least impressive. Or maybe not if you are keeping track of fan-whining about the show they are based on ;)

But yes, isn't that life that they further reduce the prices on those a day after I bought a second MAA to customise with bits from my extra Classics Eternian Guard.

I'll have another Zeeker at £30 though pleaze and fankyoo.

Skint right this minute, but if some Ebay sales and/or work contracts come through, we shall indeed discuss things :)

That's a no from me too. Not much "premium" in evidence with that.

And SAF have just sent out my Snake-eyes/Timber pack. Result.

I think another challenge with the IDW shelf is scaling across ranges, the MMC figures are pretty damn amazing but pretty large, so if you want them to scale against Generations or Thrilling 30 the IDW toys look a little big or small respectively. Someone like Cosmos was massive in IDW at times, as even the comics scale was inconsistent a lot….

If you’re still looking I’ll sell mine for £25 including postage (assuming you’re in the UK). Box & instructions are in storage though so I’ll need a little time to dig them out.

I had a quick look on eBay what the going rate for the Botcon Animated sets are going for. I’m so tempted to sell mine but I can’t help feeling I’d regret it.

I am so full of shit. Or kidding myself.

Next thing you know, I’ll be buying an ark (I’ve not. Yet)

Core Soundwave is lovely. Do you think you will get the Ark? Smyths or Amazon have it for £129.99. That Hamleys one for £107 I think has gone.

Still waiting on Omegalock to ship to me. Will check for you once I’m in receipt.

Are you happy with the figure? Build quality?
