Welp, it turns out that unfortunately the LEGO Antenna Whip H8: 2569 does not come in the most exciting range of colours so I have plumped for a range of the darker options across greys and black because a Fiver for a trans dark blue one with an off chance of closer matching Fort Max's blue to be destroyed in the process seemed almost like vandalism, given their apparent rarity.
Not being able to grab a white one has given Metroplex a lucky escape from a drilling session to TM-compatiblise him, I tell thee!
But they that were available and reasonable will shortly be on the way, along with an odd extra or two for other ongoing shenanigans, and it's the final push I needed to finally (finally!) invest in a Pin Vise, mainly as I'll very much need the accurate smaller sized bits as much as for the comfort of my mitts, and, given today's rather inclement atmospherics, I've finally pulled my finger out and pulled the trigger on grabbing a (hopefully) decent rain poncho too.
So, yeah, all of my most recent TF purchases have not been actual TFs as I fill this apparent fallow period with custom faffery.

Ordered last night, arrived by RM24 today.

Amazon are price matching on a lot of lego esp star wars plus offering a 15% discount voucher on top for a lot of items.

£27 for the bonsai tree is crazy value.

Despite the lack of twin cockpits it reminds me of slugslinger. Would love to see it in those colours.

Catching up with the MOTU chat today has been quite interesting as I was browsing in Smyths today and was very tempted by Revelations Evil Lyn, which would've been my first MOTU figure since I was a child. What put me off was the price yes, it was reduced to £19.99 which is the going rate for that scale (as was Moss Man(?)) but knowing that it's £25 a pop generally is a big barrier. Also in the back of my mind was the fact that it's going to be a heavy year for G I Joe Classified next year, so I'm not entiterly sure I want to go in on a 4th (TFs, X-Men/Spidey ML, GI Joe AND MOTU) line. Personally, I prefer the Revelations asthetic - I don't think the original asthetic looks good now and adding extra articulation doesn't help much.

In the end I spend £15 quid more and picked up the Netflix Sparkless Seeker as a stand in Acid Storm.

Lol, no because although he is awesome looking, I have no place now for idw inspired transformers. I have both him and double evil and double evil, as has been said, scratches the g1 itch more. Still, if you want him, we could work something out lol o_O

    And thank you (I think).

That's 1 Detolf to be repurposed. 4 Shelves:
    • Super 7 Thundercats (only 3 in the house so far, more on pre-order for summer 2099)
    • Marvel Legends Spiderman bad guys (all still to be opened)
    • GI Joe (Cobra Only and again still to be opened)
    • And now Revelations...
Pretty much my childhood in a cabinet (except the TF's around the rest of the room and Lego/Zoids in storage)
So time to trim the collection again somewhere else.

I ummed and arrred over Carnifex. I chose FH Double Evil. @MyTea Boc also went with Double Evil recently. I got the figure earlier this year. I also own the TR Overlord. Some DEvil photos for you to peruse:

    Totally agree.

I think the Carnifex re-issue can still be ordered via Omegalock.

    @Genodectes - sort out a deal on Double Evil with @Maniac23 !
