Ahh, I should have known that was too good to be true. Just had the "R-33 Collisus is out of stock er sorry" email. Robottoybase have done this a few times to me... I think their "in stock" mechanism doesn't work as well as it should. They offered me R-33T Thunder Prominon but I don't want Machine Wars Optimus Prime damnit, I want Thunderclash in all his neon glory. Tsk.

I know he’s the repaint, of a repaint but I think that Machine Wars Optimus works the best for that mold. I just don’t see it as Thunderclash or even Roller but that’s another issue I have with Roller being his own transformer and not a component of Optimus.

yeah, it happens quite often with RTB. I was surprised when you mentioned you were able to get him actually as I struggled. Good luck with your search!

    This might be interesting.
    i7 processor, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD
Mid-2017, it should last for 2-3 years, effectively 1 GBP per day.

This is from Nov 2020, it should last until 2026, but it's 13 inches

In other news, Robotkingdom has SS Sweep available now. I only got one, no room for three... or for one...

I’m surprised to find that TF Direct seems to have him in stock for 119euros. If that is any help

Gordon Bennett! I forgot Blaster. I think I had him on my Kingdom list, though I’m getting increasingly sceptical he’s coming out before Legacy. I think that plan has been revised.

So if IDT are getting Ravage does that mean they are going to charge less/more than Hasbro or the same ?

As for Kingdom Rodimus - he was still a hair cheaper when he was on sale the other week. & what with him being in the Argos Catalogue - I am prepared to risk it & wait for him to be properly clearanced - even though that is a risk - I somehow can't see him as being so amazing that he'd sell out.

It’s unlikely they would charge much less, most independent retailers sell a little cheaper but if you undercut too much you lose profit since you are bringing the item closer to the price you bought it at. My guess is if Hasbro charges £50 it might be there for £47/45 at best.

The thing about Rodimus is he’s technically considered a key character, so that’s a bit of a risk but your reasoning is solid. I was just happy to pay what I did to get him early, understand not everyone feels the same.

I can very easily see him being sold no less than £200 MISB in like 3 or 4 years time. I’m surprised at how much the masterpiece Rodimus still goes for even though it’s a shitbox of a figure.

Waspinator is on the way from Pulse and I decided to get the Dino cassette reissue from the Kapow sale.

Now bring on this evenings pre-ordering madness.

Things can get cheaper though, Studio Series Devastator was on Kapow at £369, and Zavvi had at at £429, but Hasbro are selling it at £225 on there own EBay store. Perhaps Ravage won’t sell at that price and he will reduce in price or go into a sale, but at £50 he’s really pricey

I think Ravage might well sell out - he's a pretty popular figure and this one scales better with the current toys than the Transarts version does.

Hasbro have gotten faily good at gauging what collectors view as an "acceptable" price gouge. I'd say Ravage falls well into that range, so I don't see the price putting people off - plus the FOMO is stronge with this one, you know he'll be going for double on eBay within days.

Can't post the links but here's the names for the £400-600 range with the processing power you'd want as the base spec.

If people think it’s a fair price then all good, an easy no for me as £50 is around £15 more than I would pay based on Draculus. Hope the people who want him get him, makes me think that if we do get that Buzzworthy four pack though it’s going to be a lot…

Definitely. He's kind of the new Bruce Campbell. He plays only himself. But we love him for it.

    Green means go.
We would need an Energon Snowcat/ Everest crossover too.

Star Wars is about the only thing he's not been in.
Andrew Garfield is the Timothy Dalton of Spiderman. He's good at playing the role, but he never had a decent film in which to do it.
That being said, I still rate him behind Maguire and Holland. Which isn't a slight. Just means theres been 3 great spidermen actors.

I think you're right, sadly. If this pack had been £30 it still would have felt expensive, but I could justify it (just) but for something I'm not fussed about £50 is where they lose me.

Quite relieved I'm not going to be in the scramble for this, memories of ER BlueStreak still scar.

I think each film has got Spiderman right but none have gotten Peter Parker right yet. Maguire was too geeky, Garfield was too cool...Holland is a good mixture of both but still not quite perfect
