Typed too soon about travel issues, they just announced my final train (delayed for an hour after many cancellations) can’t grip the tracks to get any traction. So we have all had to pile out in the pouring rain while they might find road transport, which they have not found any of in the prior 10 hours….

I see a lot of conflicting views on the reveals, esp in the main thread.

My thoughts are Tansformers Animated and Prime Voyager Bulkhead figures are nigh on perfect versions representing their respective anime models anyway.

They were new enough to take advantage of the modern era engineering (ie UT Energon & beyond).

It wouldn't make sense to redesign these so given we have had Hades Megatron etc, I suspect reissues of Prime voyager Prime, Bulkhead etc etc etc en route.

Re-imagining Bulkhead makes good sense. Influenced by but not the same.

You can definitely see potential remolds from Skids and Bulkhead though.

Neither are for me though. I was never a fan of skids as a character or toy. I never got into Prime so not fussed by that genre either.

I really don't know what it is. Might just be how disconnected his limbs look in some of the shots because of how he's posed. Or how big and square his torso is compared to his long thin limbs. Honestly, the fe prime.e bylkhead would work in a classics display. I might even dare say the animated leader would, he didn't really go for the cartoony proportions that his voyager did. Heck, although i have the voyager, i may just try to get the leader for my classics bh anyway. Requiem of the wreckers had him in his animated body so there we go. And i do prefer animated character over prime character.

Now hasbro just needs to put out a Ravage kitten calander.

    glad it’s not just me!
I need a Skids in my CHUG collection and can’t wait for him in all hks G1’ness. Yes he’s not perfect but he will do me fine.

some one on Twitter was whining about why Skids when we are getting a MP soon. My response to them was purely, because not everyone can afford to or collects MP for other reasons.

bulkhead isn’t for me, not because I don’t like him, just forcing myself to limit the collection.

I agree with this as an idea, but not in practice. A new version of Bulkhead? Hell yes. Bulkhead shaped like a breeze block with arms and legs? Hell no.

Possible. Hasbro like to make use of the name trademarks while they're valid, so a reissue of Bulkhead wouldn't be impossible. But on the other hand the Hades Megatron and Breakdown were toys that were unavailable in Hasbro markets the first time round, not just reissues.

Ah, yeah. Legacy is not doing it for me. No sir.

Skid's legs are basically 100% open.

Bulkhead has the potential to be interesting, but ultimately looks off. Is he a Prime Final form Prime extensive retool or something?

I'm not feeling the translucent accessories---feels like energon but without the charm.

I'll wait for pictures of the Stunticons and Motormaster but yeah...think lots of money saved next year.

Skids wasn’t love at first sight for me but I reckon he’ll look better in real life. Definitely keeping the old version for the LL shelf.

I’m ready to buy blue, red, silver, black and red versions.

In other news, Amazon managed to send me an actual Cyberverse Sludge rather than tablets of questionable medicinal value.

Also, more SS Sludge confirmation. Yay!

Deffo in for that Skids, he is going to look mighty fine alongside the Earth Autobots - plus only a matter of time until a filler kit for his legs shows up. Impactor's hollow legs were cured the same way.

I was going to get skids if he looked similar to his g1 version. my first impression is he looks ok, if a bit angular. I'll pick him up but looking at those pics had pushed me over the line on getting the MP version. Has anyone seen him for pre-order cheaper than omegalock?

    Ebay:
Doubt you'll get it cheaper now. Kapow had him up too, so worth checking. Not sure about IDT.

I went AJP, because it's always cheaper, but they usually close preorders off too, so I doubt they'll have it available until it releases now

Just got to wait for paint to dry, works enough I think. Remind me not to use green stuff to fully sculpt things in one go.

Skids looks great. Will slot in perfectly with the rest of the WFC season 2 crew.

Don’t know much about Bulkhead as a character, but the design is cool.

Thanks for the tip about ajp. Although something odd is happening. When I add it to my cart its listed at 8044 yen but as soon as I go to checkout the price rises to 8776 yen.
