Under my somewhat vaguely defined collecting rules, I could only get Thunderclash and Boss (since they were on the Lost Light).

I believe Warburtons make giant crumpets now.

    They do.

But I'm going out on a limb and will suggest that someone who openly describes themselves as "a crumpet shagger" will definitely not require one of those. I expect a regular one from a pack if 6 or 9 would suffice...

I half agree, but that rule doesn't apply to SkyLynx for me. I think because I view his animal forms as his robot forms, and also because SkyLynx has such a strong personality that is hilariously at odds with his looks it makes the whole package work wonderfully.

In terms of seperate bases, I've got no interest in original flavour Optimus's trailer, but I quite enjoy the base mode his PM trailer does. I like trailers that combine, but I also like them to do something useful when they aren't combined, and a weapons platform seems a good choice.

Oh god, you've got the same problematic rule that I do (or possibly a minor variation thereof).

    And, I trust, giant napkins.

    For afterwards.

Ravage just arrived, again only interested in the modern figure and wow, in love.

Only downside are his tiny silver feet, apart from that, joints are tight, finish is great too. Transformation is smart, only thing is; ya need to swap the beast mode front legs (this has been noted multiple times across the board).

If you like spending a lot of money and don't like cost efficiency, get this guy.

    Collecting justifications are fun lol

I decided I wanted the 1986 onwards Marvel comics cast, but just the Decepticons. I have allowed some IDW in because I really enjoyed the earlier comics. So I’ve ended up catching up on a lot of things, I’ve blurred my own boundaries by getting some beasts to go with Magmatron, then went and lost part of him somewhere….
So I’m basically getting Decepticons, the odd Autobot to repaint into Decepticons, and the third party goal is slowly to build up the DJD but if I don’t get them all that’s ok with me. At some point I need to shift a load of Autobots I got though, as I don’t really want to keep them. Any Energon or Galaxy Force figures are also on my lists, just because a lot of them were lost to flood damages. But I’m also trying to stick to a mould, so I missed out on Skorponok but I’m ok with him in Black even though he’s not from the Comics… Damn my own hypocrisy!

enjoying Thrust quite a bit. had to put a bit of glue in his left gun (on the right in this pic) so it would tab into the wing slot better. both 5mm pegs are a bit loose so i only put them in his hands.
all in all, a lot more fun than blitzwing, and hes already fantastic. if starscream goes on discount, ill get him too.

Didn't notice the leg thing. I would have never noticed it had you guys never pointed it out.

Today's buying carnage: a cheeky-Kapow sale Sandstorm, M'Lady Atwell, and some Revelations Chunk. Plus the to-be-wiped-down-first Pulse bits from the Bins. Last week was delivery lite, this week it'll deluge. IMG_20211027_140423.jpg

I hope Slammer/Pipes/Blaster do get freed today.....the rest of the upcoming month is looking a bit Transformers scarce.

I'm getting more excited for Legacy Menasor as the day goes on and more discussion is happening. Hopefully it is a fair bit taller than the CW era. I'd forgotten how bad and unstable articulation on the CW version was too.

Looking back at some of my collection pics this afternoon, CW Menasor with the the Perfect Effect hands, feet and chest upgrade still looked pretty decent. Completely dwarfed by Devastator though. It was also definitely the weakest of the main combiners for me with Defensor, Bruticus and Superion and Computron looking much better.

Ravage is delivered. Just got to wait till I can go home now.

I have the japanese version of Energon Scorponok I can sell you if you'd rather he be in screen colours. I've headmastered him, but I can put him back to normal if you're interested? Happy to hold him for you for a bit too.

    Ravage and Zartan have arrived!

So far Zartan is the winner. A very cool box and a nice colour changing effect of the figure makes it seem far more premium for the price than Ravage does.

Bah this pic reminds me of all the other things on my ever-growing list of things i want.

I shouldnt complain about being on the dole but it (and having to pay for or the new Furai Windblade Kit in November) does make deciding what to spend my remaining money on harder...do I get Revelations Teela and Evil-Lyn, Do i buy Cap Carter and Endgame Thor or do I buy Kingdom Galvatron?

Such hard decisions and such first world problems eh? :p

Buy whichever is least likely to drop so hard in price. Of that list I'd say Endgame Thor. Even at £20 the Revelation stuff generally isn't shifting much. Christ, even I haven't bought it yet.

Quick cheeky question for @Apollux in relation to motormaster- any sign of his little roller car companion? Or any indication a core class blackjack (or the like) might attach to menasors chest?
