I made the exact same decisions, would like to get replacement horns (or just fillers) in the same flat grey though.

That fucking vote. Thunderwing and Star Saber waz robbed.

I've often hoped we'd get to see the designs for the other contenders. Particularly how Hound and Arcee Prime would have been achieved.

A one-shot book 'Whirl & Sideswipes Grand Night Out'. Those two out for a pint when things inevitably escalate, and culminate the next morning with Sideswipe waking up next to a Sharkticon and an undying sense of shame; with Whirl sat in the corner having clawed the middle out of himself.

He’s a pretty good actor to be fair, every film I’ve seen with him in he plays his role really well. Need to get him on that magic Marvel beefcake diet though.

Yeah I thought the same with Hydra Stomper. I’m not sure why it’s as large as it is - surely it shouldn’t be as big as the Hulkbuster?

I’ve got a couple of Gnaw backgrounds which are slightly damaged which you’re welcome to. I’m also should be getting a spare Slag background from ID soon (hopefully!).

Thankfully nothing in the Pulse sale for me, my wallet has breathed a sigh of relief! More poor timing on Hasbros part though, a lot of fans have just been charged £180 for a certain crowd funded item…..

Impromptu Megatron themed #deskbot week! Yesterday was Prime Megs, today we have Classics Nerfatron. Meganerf? Nerfnerf?

    20211012_085629.jpg

Can he stand up straight even with half his mass concentrated on his right arm? No.

Does he hit that G1 itch? Sorta.

Is he aesthetically pleasing? In a weird kinda way maybe?

Is he fun to transform and play with? FUCK YEAH HE IS! *PEW PEW*

I concur, even if he is an absolute unit, big even for an old Voyager. I have him with the shoulder-wings folded backwards to reduce his on-shelf oomph a bit. Happily, if shelved with my Headmasters he's balanced a bit because I've got the OSKO of Hardhead, and if shelved with the Lost Light crew there's now fellow flyer Cyclonus in Voyager class thanks to Kingdom.

If I'd bought the TR one first I'd probably be happy with it. Occasionally I even weigh up swapping him out. But, much like T30 Jetfire, he is just a wonderful toy in altmode. Exactly what young me would have wanted in a Space Alien Plane.

OH cool! please share your thoughts once you get it

    I'm pretty sure I'll bite

Supernova are pretty well respected 3P manufacturer I think. They make some original MG Gundam Wing kits that people really love and then branched into zoids which have also gone down really well. I think so far they have the Murasame/hayate/Mugen Ligers and the big scorpion one whose name I forget

I’ve got a preorder with Robot Recruits, but just says July at the earliest.

I notice on the BBTS site it says October.

I've only managed to counter once (after the first boss and getting the
    stealth abilitiy
I'm finding it frustrating and not necessarily 'fun'.
The E.M.M.I encounters and rooms feels like frustrating trial and error and also anxiety inducing which I don't enjoy from games.

You didn't need to spoiler tag the enemy/boss as it was spoiled in actual Nintendo trailers .... ffs Nintendo .... lol

Hahaha, was just in case anyone swerved the promo material full stop.

I'm finding the encounters pretty exhilarating with multiple options of survival available albeit with really tiny windows of opportunity. I've been returning to areas not yet made safe to experiment with the E.M.M.I units especially now I've got regained quite a few abilities. They're clever. And lethal.

Total change up in terms of the gameplay though and can see why you and others might not be enjoying them.

Yeah I'm just not so sure if I'm getting too old and tired to have the patience and reflexes for the twitch combat etc.
Just listened to this week's NVC and Sam went on about some challenges when you get a certain ability and that doesn't bode well for me lol

I've killed 2 so far, think I've just got to the 3rd one, unsure if there are more but wouldn't surprise me if there was

May have just acquired said ability.

    I think there's
    8 E.M.M.I units
    in total.

The parrying mechanic feels like a natural evolution of its presence in Samus Returns which makes sense given the developers. I like the mobile melee fighting,
though I can see the use of counters in key fights getting a bit gimmicky
, and the movement system is brilliant once you get the hang of it.

The changes certainly lend an edge to proceedings.

One thing I do love though is how
you, true to form, instantly become hunter rather than hunted once the Omega cannon is activated. Obviously still in danger of being killed immediately but you become the aggressor in the E.M.M.I encounters. You exploit the freedom of movement they previously had as an advantage to set up the killshot. It's bloody awesome.
