In which the Beast Wars Reissues appear to be....in a new continuity!

    7147C1B4-0A98-46B7-A8DA-728451FF141F.jpeg

Okay, so they’ve been engineering themselves (again)...

    22F902FF-C161-48EE-830A-D3BD8EDED804.jpeg

...and Primal has specifically made himself into a hella big ‘rilla...

    98ED52A1-79C7-4332-954D-12340CD29349.jpeg

...but here’s the clincher: Megs has been raiding InGen’s R&D facilities. Clearly meant to be on a modern(ish) Earth!

Zounds and other such utterances. :D

Is this what they mean by brand synergy?

Naw, pretty sure that's just regular vintage BW original toyline box back mythology before the Beast Wars show canon was fully established.

I think the previous continuity made much more sense! I mean if there's humans running around, becoming large creatures is the last thing you'd do...

Edit - Just read Seeaich's post, I assumed they'd created something totally new here. Jesus, BW continuity really is a Shambles (ha, sometimes autocorrect is great).

TEARS! :cry  It’s BatPrime and CrocMegs’ timeline again.  Had I actually picked up a box and read it instead of turning away the one time I saw BW toys on the shelf, back in 1996, I would have known that. :redface2:  Oh well, it was new to me and quite good fun! Now the reissues can be different people from their CHUG versions. Hurrah! :) :D :) :D

It's a shame that the BW didn't get a Marvel, or better yet Marvel UK proper comic - I really feel Brit creators would've gotten some 2000AD grist to mill from the initial Box Back stuff with all the Bio-mechanical body horror 90s ATTITUDE!!! of it!

I'm so old now I couldn't remember HR Giger's name the other day. My failing brain struck at my geek heart instead of the other way around!

It was from the ever responsive guys at Sonner Toys. Sold out now of course
Transformers: War for Cybertron - Sporponok (Titan Class)

They were one of the very few places to have a listing for the rerelease this year (along with Robot Recruits). Was always sold out, but i kept and eye on it and one day back in May, they had one available, and now here it is!

This is more interesting than any election :lol

As others have pointed out, back of the box continuities but damn those are some interesting rabbit holes for some writer to fall down. TBH Rise of the Beasts' premise could be closer to that premise what with being in the 90s and having Beastbots about.

Did Transformers ever do a Cannonball Run type episode?

    :lolol

    Someone needs to do this.

Seems like Hasbro's TF Social Media duty employee needs a nudge with a stick! :lol

Sidenote: I keep forgetting to mention that all my Boneasaurs faffery has made me eventually realise that of the three Bonebods we have a ninja, a knight, and a, uh, berserker?barbarian?tribal? warrior, and now I quite want Hasbro to continue with 'em to give us a Pirate and a Cowboy!
Also an Eeeevil Wingfinger recolour, pleaaase?

They did a weird "charity race" across bits of Europe in which some asshole human was driving an experimental car and.....that's all the details I can remember. It made about as much sense as anything else in the Cartoon to have Mirage competing in a Grand Tour race over hundreds of miles like the Wacky Races of old.

    That sort of counts.
