It was from the ever responsive guys at Sonner Toys. Sold out now of course
Transformers: War for Cybertron - Sporponok (Titan Class)

They were one of the very few places to have a listing for the rerelease this year (along with Robot Recruits). Was always sold out, but i kept and eye on it and one day back in May, they had one available, and now here it is!

This is more interesting than any election :lol

As others have pointed out, back of the box continuities but damn those are some interesting rabbit holes for some writer to fall down. TBH Rise of the Beasts' premise could be closer to that premise what with being in the 90s and having Beastbots about.

Did Transformers ever do a Cannonball Run type episode?

    :lolol

    Someone needs to do this.

Seems like Hasbro's TF Social Media duty employee needs a nudge with a stick! :lol

Sidenote: I keep forgetting to mention that all my Boneasaurs faffery has made me eventually realise that of the three Bonebods we have a ninja, a knight, and a, uh, berserker?barbarian?tribal? warrior, and now I quite want Hasbro to continue with 'em to give us a Pirate and a Cowboy!
Also an Eeeevil Wingfinger recolour, pleaaase?

They did a weird "charity race" across bits of Europe in which some asshole human was driving an experimental car and.....that's all the details I can remember. It made about as much sense as anything else in the Cartoon to have Mirage competing in a Grand Tour race over hundreds of miles like the Wacky Races of old.

    That sort of counts.

    Random thought for the day:

Toys/collectables that have errors tend to be more collectable in the future due the error and possible scarcity. With Kingdom Galvatron being released with fixed shoulders, a re-release due, and a number of people 'fixing' the shoulders does this mean the original 'dodgy shoulder' version will become a future collectors item?

    Discuss.

Second random thought for the day:

Are all the Japanese Star Saber sales being added to the totaliser?

Third thought for the day. When the manager of your local smyths says you're in there more than him, do you go to smyths too often?

    :D

I've never actually been in one of their stores, the nearest one is Nottingham and I've not been that far since before the pandemic.

I've ordered a handful of items via their mail order and haven't had a problem aside from questioning the size of their shipping boxes :D

As an investment, yes, as enjoyment my personal guess is not worth it assuming you maybe don't have so much of a connection to it?

@bcm77 You're not missing much in Smyths!

Just wondering, would anyone be interested in the Marvel Legends Nimrod and Fantomex figures from the 3 pack?

Only I'm watching it on amazon and if it drops in price it might make more sense to get it for the Psylocke figure than getting her on her own

If I'm ever in the vicinity I'd go in on the off chance of picking up a random figure as I know they have lines I collect from but it's not worth me getting on a bus and going a bit out of the way for particularly with people being increasingly unmasked.....I had to change checkouts twice in Morrisons a couple of days ago because of people without them right in front of me in the queue standing there coughing and spluttering all over the place

    @Astro-Furby,
    How much for Nimrod?

Having bust the barrier with some to spare, I reckon least Hasbro could do is throw us the bone of an SS'86 Wheelie/Daniel-style chicken-walker mode Illumina II to represent Jan!
It'd really The Dude's Rug the set - oh, and bump The Motorvators/Brainmasters/Road Caeser up the production pipeline, willya?!

Seeing them be super cute/ destructive, I really wanted a life size puppet one.

Did we ever find out where they came from? As in are they Grimlock’s kids? Built by Cade?

No explanation whatsoever :)  From the same genius mind that spent two minutes telling us why Cade was dating the daughter in the prev movie ;)

Well, while I'm never one to turn away extra free stuff, a shield he doesn't need and a pair or micromasters I already didn't buy make this third tier the least interesting for me. I still wish they'd included that kid that hung around, whatever his name was. Sid or something.
Oof, thanks for the reminder that Victory had some of the worst music in TF history. Perhaps only surplanted by BW Neo.

That's what tipped me over when I put in my order. While I don't agree with buying up toys as an investment in the general sense, knowing that Star Saber will only appreciate in value means that, if I decide it's not for me, selling it on will at the very least cover the cost.

So... is Ectotron worth £38? Almost tempted. But then I would probably get Mp10 Ghostbusters too...
