New phone, new camera. Hopefully more clarity in the pictures? Incidentally this wee lad is way more fun than I was anticipating.

    So the postman just came!

Had no idea what the parcel was until I saw the Chinese writing and customs slip on the other side (woohoo for Ali express!)

Had to wait over an hour or so to open due to parental duties but it was well worth it.

I’m sure a few of you already have these in your CHUG collections given the lack of love from HasTak.

Was confused as hell as to what was the identifier of who was who until I saw the pen mark on the bottom of the box like of old

not sure if I’m going to do anything with the mini mechs, does anyone know their actual relevance?

anyway enjoy a couple of pics

So... should I just slap a G2 faction logo on this?

    20211020_142106.jpg

This was the first line Aaron Archer pitched to Hasbro not long after arriving with the company. Crazy to think that in the mid-nineties Batman was their biggest boys toy, bigger than Star Wars or Transformers, even after they completely missed out on the 89 movie.

They mention it briefly in the introductory podcast under the US name Batman Knight Force Ninjas. For Europe they dropped the Knight Force from the branding.

I'd recall most of the lines just on seeing the card art but this was completely new to me.

My postman decided to give me all the letters for every house in the street today. Granted there is only three others, but still. It's not like it's a long walk to the next house.

The mini mechs are ko's of the diaclone reboot stuff with some new accessories I think. All mft minibots come with one. Nifty little guys, I stuck an autobot sticker on mine and use them as Titan repair drones.

I was thinking I don't recognise those boxes so what company are those from? But then remembered my gears (only got the gears) didn't come in the box. That's why I don't recognise it.:lolol

Your Hotlink also has a face scar? Different to mine, but still a scar. Do all Hotlinks have a little scar under their eye somewhere I wonder?

I thought that might be the case regarding the mechs but didn’t want to assume.

Also didn’t realise these were MFT as the boxes say Mechanic on then (me being naive I don’t know much about 3P’s).

So I take it these are Legends scale and other MFT bots will scale well with them?

I'm amazed Hasbro haven't thought to sell a (mini) deluxe Swerve with drinks trays and a my first blaster for a voyager price point?

Damn, should not have said that out loud.

Wait until Hasbro figure out some comic creators share Studios, so Studio Series: IDW can become a thing.

    Actually, that would be great.

Bullpen Series? Freelance Series? Publisher Series? Page Series? Heck, by that logic they could package up a Marvel UK Soundwave and give us that Triple Takeover Pink Hotrod.

No, these are actually classics scaled, so they go well with Hasbro legends figures (like their titan return/potp minibots, or siege minibots like you have done there). They are too big to scale with the mft legend scale figures, like their Jazz, or starscream, or whoever they made. Their legend scaled figures are smaller than these two I believe.

MFT minibots are for chug scale, mft carbots/seekers/non minibots are their own scale and are physically smaller than the minibots.
