Also: it's peculiar, as one of the recovered Transtech designs, together with Armada Megatron and Scavenger, Animated Blurr and WFC Optimus Prime (2010).

In most cases it turns into a robot and a scorpion themed construction vehicle, then an aircraft once…. Mine had a really good run, but sadly the gold plastic suffered it’s usual fate. Think I’ve the modded Cybertron version somewhere too.

Keep forgetting how good some of those Transtech designs were, some really great ideas

I’ve ordered a bunch from Amazon USA and it’s been really good so far. In one case arrived quicker than an item ordered in the U.K, hopefully yours shows up quickly

A couple of weeks ago myself, @IrnBro and others had an argument about whether bidding against oneself was possible on eBay. Perhaps someone can explain this to me:

On 2 October g***6 places a bid of £20.99. Some seconds later eBay permits the same person to bid the same amount again. At 6:37pm g***6 yet again bids the same amount against him/herself. What is the point of this, and why does eBay permit it?

That person has gone in and upped their max bid. The first one, they probably upped it as soon as they got the screen to say they were the highest bidder but they could increase it.

It's also possible that some outbid them and then withdrew, resetting them as leader with that same bid.

I think it means they've upped their bid, you just can't see how much. So for example, if the first bid is £21, the second £30 and the third is £40. Until someone else bids there'll no change to the max Bid amount.

    edit: ninja'd

When you increase your bids incrementally rather than putting your maximum in all at once, you increase the overall number of bids that show on the item. That way it looks like more buyers are interested & might put off casual bidders who don't want to get caught in a bidding war. It's a way of attempting to deter rival bidders

What are people's experiences with Collectable Kingdoms?

Are they any good? Do they get pre orders in when they expect? Do they cancel orders due to not getting the stock?

That would apply if the amount was actually increasing, if only incrementally. But as the image shows, the amount isn't going up. g***6 has entered three bids at three different times, but in each case they're for the same amount: £20.99.

This isn't their max bid, though. It's just the current bid. And although it's been adjusted three times, by the same bidder, that amount isn't increasing: it remains at £20.99.

It still doesn't make sense to me.

You can’t see their max bid, that information isn’t public.

Meanwhile the Ark. Why the Flying-Fortress didn't they include a few 5mm ports on the topside?

I've had a couple of pre-orders with them for WWE Ultimate Editions.

For those they've taken a fair bit of time after the initial release in the States ie several months but I got them at a sane price and everything was nicely packed so the wait was worth it given how difficult those figures can be to get in the UK.

The one in stock order I had arrived in 2-3 days no problem.

Cheers for that. I'm planning my TFTM display and want to do the Arise! scene with the SS86 hot rod and kingdom Rodimus, and then MP9 or a v2 if that comes. My MP28 will be in a Pit scene...

They've got Rodimus up for 72 quid, which is way less than anything else I can find, plus hot rod for 30, which again I can only find at the same price but no lower.

Glad to help....I just got shipping info on my 2nd pre-order in the last couple of days so it was fresh in my mind!

The Ultimate Editions aren't cheap anywhere but £36.99 each is better than I can find anywhere else in the UK and I wouldn't save anything with Ringside Collectibles on those as the packaging makes international shipping pricier then regular Elite releases so I've also pre-ordered Undertaker and Kane with them.

£72 for Roddy would be somewhat tempting to me if I had the cash but need to get my arse in gear and get some ebay listings up!
