A massive bundle of DS games, £400 worth. He asked me to ship to someone in the UK who would then post on. Had no issues at all as I met my half of the agreement, sent tracked to where he asked, all went fine,

then he messaged me a few days later when his friend had sent them to him, again all ok.

Today's arrivals and hooo boy, Vector and Omega from @joetele were a TAD bigger than I was expecting   but that's entirely on me for not checking in Omega's case and Vector I think it's more he's chonkier than I'm used to as I did check his height, but sometimes you just don't know till you actually have the thing in hand   I love the little cog detailing on Vector!
Omega is missing a little clip on the side of his ship command tower but it's entirely possible that's in the bubble wrap somewhere. Not that I'm massively fussed if it is missing entirely, it's not a structurally critical piece

My work decided the same, and has been operating at about 50% capacity. Evertone got sent home early on Friday, as someone in the office on that day got an alert in the afternoon saying they' tested positive. Everyone was told to get a PCR test as soon as possible before returning to the office.

Exactly so. If it's going to be new and with an 11th Gen processor your onboard is going to do 4K @60 with no problems at all. The processor in that laptop does that from the HDMI, and will also do 8K from the DisplayPort, but you'd want a native DisplayPort input on an 8K screen for that to actually work of course.

 

I've had people's facial reaction be 'you look older!' yet plenty of others are amazed I'm nearly forty because I'm a bit Tiggerish and they thought I was early 30s lol. People see what they wanna see.

 

Fucking Amazon... nearly a month ago I ordered deodorant off them in some sorta sale event for subscribers that meant they shipped monthly or whenever you set it. So they've waited until now to tell me they need a 'specialist carrier' outside of the mainland and naturally can't provide one.

Anyone else see the Marvel Legends 20th anniversary Captain America? I’m happy with the 80th version, but curious to see what else they put out. Hulk, Iron Man and Toad maybe? (Please!)

 

I'll think about it/them, but I'm perfectly ok with the 80th Cap (and numerous Movie Steve's) and with so many other Legends literally piling up this month and next I'm probably going to have to exercise some will power and lay off yet more repaints.

I got the (light blue) retro Cap (90’s cartoon), then after much deliberation got the (dark blue) 80th (A:EMH).

Now they put out a far superior light blue Cap with an unmasked headsculpt that I want but will never use.

I’m sure they’re just messing with us at this point! But I think for me, 2010’s is edging out 90’s.

Also been playing with my Throne of the Primes Primal recently... he's actually pretty cool so I've taken him off the potential sales list   if anything part of me wants to get the normal colours version xD Speaking of that fig, the people who have de-backpacked the deluxe fig, is it still possible to attach the separated parts together to form the spaceship altmode still? I feel like it should be as they attach by some thick clips?
That said I've also pondered the Iron Factory one... he might actually be roughly in scale with Siege Optimus as Optimal Optimus was pretty damn big!

I am very confused by the dates on these wave 4 items. I wonder what is going to happen with Pipes and Slammer ?
The way it's going it might be quicker to order them on Amazon.com assuming I can find the links - since the search system kinda "doesn't work" some of the time.

That said as outright peculiar as things may be with missing Transformers (isn't there some Takara repaints over due too) I remain even more confused how Bandai/Playmates managed to some how manage to release uncounted numbers of dolls and Turtles and yet can only get one wave of Miraculous dolls and toys out per year - despite them having the date of September 2021 to work to and the last wave came out October 2020.

At least with Transformers I have a "vague idea" what we are going to get due to leaks - The only leaks you get with Miraculous is pure guess work based on posters and banners and design desktops glimpsed in a company visit.

Curiously I was reading that Miraculous original super power for Ladybug was called "Lucky Break" and it was her Yo Yo physically transforming into other things - anything from a Motorcycle to a different weapon to some random object like a winch (similar to Lucky Charm) and she'd loose her yo yo in the process - I guess that disappeared when they decided to "purify" the butterflies with the Yo Yo and she can't exactly purify a demonic Butterfly by driving a scooter at it.

But the design documents I saw seemed to show some very "Lucky Break" like power ups as toy accessories - so basically "Miraculous vehicles" The reason I mention it is they looked like they 'Transformed' to some degree too in the sense of some random 1990's or 2000's Batman figure accessory might. Ironically they could give her a giant robot suit and it would not be uncanonical - but no sign of a Giant 'Catbug' Mech toy unfortunately as yet ( I always suggest they should do "Hawkmoth's titans" as Giant Vinyl figures.

As it stands I'm just left gratefuil Queen Bee finally showed up, and left wondering if that they are showing banners with Vesperia, Ryuko, Carapace, Pegasus & Viperion on means they are making those characters or not.

No Akumas on any of the banners I notice. Maybe if Bandai had not lost the licence quite so precipitously they could of at least let some more repaints out in that two year period where very little was released (a year before oct 2020 and a year after) and the Bunnyx doll I ordered that was supposed to be out in August still has not shipped either and is now listed as "November" - the way they are going the show will have finished it's season by the time they ever release something else - even the things known about (like Adrien into Cat Noir) & Dragonbug or hinted at Like Civilian Alya into Rena Rouge, or a Ryuko doll. I'm not especially impressed that Dragonbug doesn't include her sword either.

But oh well if they want to go and prevent Reflektor from being Reflektor again on the show after they used her 6 times on the show and STILL not make a figure of her - then well all I can do is roll my eyes at them like a displeased dog.
