I do miss Hasbro having fun. Though I wish the has done a Megatrin Combiner too. I still like the name Omegatron for such a hyperthetical.

Despite my intention to cut back on Optimi, a custom project that somewhat appeals to try at some point is a combiner made entirely of Optimi :lol  I figure it wouldn't be too hard to turn some of the chunkier limbs like Ironhide for example into a truck cab or something.:D  In my ideaI tend to imagine that torso is G1 then limbs being from various other series ^^

    Weird:confused:

I’ve got a Squad of Hellblaster marines and a Lieutenant.

I also have one Sister and one Necron.

Given the prices are very much the same for each of these, you get more for your money from either a marine or the sister.

The Lieutenant or ultra marine primaries intercessors each have two hands that can wield weapons. The hellblaster and other marines out have one closed hand and an open palm. This is more problematic if you plan to have printed weapons/shields attached being held by them. I’d focus on getting the lieutenant and the primaris intercessors. The latest revivers (marines) that are up for PO have two closed fists so they would be worthwhile to get.

I wouldn’t bother with the Necron. Not a lot of posing stances can be achieved and based on how the figure’s weight is distributed, not an easy one to display.

If you want an enemy for the marines I would advise going for the Orkz that are up for PO now. I think they will have more weight to them, have more opportunity to achieve different poses without struggling to stand up.

The Genestealers look great but I will wait till they hit the shops and others have bought giving a review on them.

I’m sticking to the marines and Orkz.

The Necrons fit in nicely with your Alien/Predator figures. I find the necrons lacking and would rather the same amount of cash bought the Orkz.

The genestealers seem to be the wrong colour and I would feel compelled to paint them. They look great though. Better than the necrons.

The sisters are great for being able to duel wield weapons. Getting them to balance is more difficult than the marines.

I’d recommend the marines if you haven’t got any. The revivers that are up for PO look great.

Big hugs buddy. Been feeling a bit drained myself lately. Change in the seasons, trouble sleeping, work. It takes it's toll.

I found it a bit funny that Megatron was combiner obsessed in IDW, and they never made him one in the toyline. Who would you have as his limbs?

Cheers all credit to Sam for the gorgeous custom. Got the Nonnef weapons set for paunch/counterpaunch so allocated the yellow gun to Nu Ruckus. Looks vaguely like his shoulder weapon.

An enigmatic hermit haunting the treeless wastes of Sol III, Sandstorm is often present yet rarely seen, due to his uncanny camouflage artistry.

Thanks guys. It really means a lot. It's a bit of a scary time to be honest, but I'm determined to get through it all.

I'm currently setting myself up for a prolonged period of not being able to much, which I'm using as an excuse to blitz the ludicrously long amazon wishlist that I've been continuously adding to for years so that I have things to do. I may as well stock up on robots & comics, right? :)

(And if you're an FFXIV fan then you know that Endwalker is out soon, so that's a giant chunk of time taken up there!)

Honestly though, thanks. You guys are great. :)

    I tend to think
Right Arm - Shockwave, also an arm cannon. Could alternatively have someone else as an arm and use the CW Shockwave as an arm mounted cannon.
Left Arm - Soundwave or Starscream
One Leg - Starscream or Soundwave.
It's the last limb I trip on as I'd rather it not just be another Seeker, especially as the third gets left out. Maybe Thrust? Slightly different at least. Reflector would be another possibility I guess. I'm trying to stickto the similar theme of how Optimus Maximus is made of Season 1 G1 Ark bots by keeping it as S1 'cons who aren't Constructicons.
For extra fun, possibly Laserbeak as a chestpiece or something in reference to him as the real mark of Decepticon leadership :D

Speaking of OM, if I had done him I'd have had him be Optimus, Jazz, Ratchet, Prowl, Ironhide, and maybe Bee as a weapon or chestpiece or something.

Currently running with two possible scenarios re:The Wayward Yodeller, either A) They've had a breakdown and are just driving randomly around the delivery catchment area deliberately taunting the remaining 91 delivery-awaiters, or B) Their van(plus whatever device is GPS-ing the Yodel Tracking)'s been nicked and taken on a Joyride! :lol

Sad, but true. Beaucoup du seekers would work for me.

Alternatively, Straxus, Shockwave, Tarn and Starscream.

Not the greatest mold. And yet, I enjoyed it well enough as Breakdown and Jumpstream.

But thank Primus for WFC Wheeljack and Sunstreaker.

    Stay strong buddy!

    @motorthing,
Fair point on the scale, I just found the actual Kingdom one so disappointing I shoved it straight in a box never to be seen again so the chance at getting another of the MP mould has some appeal although in all probability I probably won't due to other pre-orders taking priority.

Rattrap and Rhinox would be MP's I'd have to consider, or at least wait for KO's with improvements.

    @Ottertron,
I see what you're getting at but I'm not sure it's a 1:6 figure because the likeness looks far too good at least in comparison to any previous sculpt I've seen of him both official and unlicensed.

Maybe they've had another go at de-aging him with CGI and that's why it looks a bit weird?

Not really been a fan of many of the CW repaints, but you make them look fantastic. Kudos.

It's possible that it's not that straightforward.

I listed something from JML, unopened. You know, the TV sales thing that has stuff in Asda and Tesco...

Apparently, because I listed it as new (which it was) it was flagged. This turns out to be because JML have agreements in place that only certain retailers can sell their stuff. So because I wasn't one of them, I had no rights to sell it. Even though I owned it and wanted to sell it.

Could be something similar. In which case, it could be Hasbro or Super7 who reported it.
