Ooh, not nice. I'm on it, have been for years. Started on regular single hit stuff, now on slow release.

Everyone is different, but for me it's been incredibly beneficial for pain (but ironically have had to use in a cocktail to get true benefits).

Having said that, and again everyone's different, I've found it debilitating for fatigue, and also incredibly addictive.

I actually titrated down a few years ago, to come off them (pre slow release, and having only been on them for a couple of months), and did it properly, going from 2 per day to 1 every 3 days. The first day I was truly off them, I had full on Trainspotting withdrawal!

I've recently halved my dosage (took 12 months!) but even now, if I am late to take my tablet, or woe betide if I forget it, I still get withdrawal symptoms.

It's a nasty drug, and I want off it ASAP if I can do it without seeing a terrible increase in pain.

So my advice is to take them to help your issues, but do your best to only be on them short term. Don't miss a dose, and when you come off them, take your time and reduce slowly and in small incremental steps.

Wish you all the best with it

    Thank you, Jon.

I prefer the ambiguity, I think.

No Goldbug then. Crap. Crap crap crap. Now I'm worried.

Still, SG Magnus might be intriguing. Either it's finally an excuse to do a Delta Magnus deco or they'll go full skele-face on him.

The unfortunately-named Blaze Master, as is the second one. He... flies high.

:lol  Thanks, Ash, forgive me if strangely enough I don't take nettiquette lesson from your good self, I'm afraid I prefer to stick to my idiosyncratic method of explicitly thanking folks for answers to my queries, without negatively dissecting them on a public forum when I could just not.

    Cheers dude. Much appreciated.

He’s not too shabby. I sold my Siege Mirage but as you know I never planned to buy this. Ha.

Cheers. I'm actually supposed to be taking it as needed at the moment, but I'm not sure how well that'll work out.

I've been wanting to mention the reason on here but haven't really known how. Some people on here will know this already, but I'm going to stick it behind spoiler tags just in case, because it might be a bit upsetting

I was diagnosed with bowel cancer a couple of weeks ago, and had it fully confirmed last week. Thankfully it looks like it's treatable, but I have chemo & radiotherapy in my immediate future, followed by surgery. I mostly feel fine, other than being incredibly anaemic which is leaving me knackered. It's not going to be a fun time ahead, but I'm feeling optimistic!

Sorry for dropping that on people - if it's inappropriate for this place I'll happily delete it. It's just that I have friends that I only really talk to on here & I feel like I should probably say something

I'm really hoping it's Delta Magnus. At worst I'd accept paying a little extra for an optional skull face that I won't use.

Got Sandstorm yesterday thanks to the lovely people at Kapow. He was a surprise and very welcome delivery, as I had no email to say he had been dispatched. The figure is fantastic and looks so sharp. The joints are tight and feels quality. It was well worth the over a year wait in my opinion. Now if Kapow could send out my pre-ordered Kenner Classics Ecto 1 that would be great!

Fingers crossed you make a full recovery. Just make sure you have plenty of rest and water.

Got the G1 soundtrack playing while I work. It's that kind of a day. Also got ER Megatron and Kingdom Galvatron as today's deskbots.

They've had trouble getting Ecto-1 to stores in America, I know that much, though I'm uncertain if our other e-tailers shipped theirs.
