A fair few folks I know reckon that buying the new WH40K partwork magazine is a cheaper way of building a decent army with various extra bits than just buying the equivalent stuff from GW, maybe look into subbing to that?

I bloody love both Cranks. Absolutely batshit insane.

He really is. I definitely feel better about spending £250 on him than I would spending £130-150 on The Ark. As it is it will cost me around £100 and I even consider that too much tbh. :S

    You made a wise decision.

My head of course is always thinking about repaint potential. I can imagine a Marvel style Ark remold.

Come on Seeaich you're pulling my leg, comic books are made out of paper and we all know the internet is made out of tubes! ;)

It does remind me though, where are those LEP flexible tablets we were promised? I've been waiting 10 years for a better digital magazine experience.

You won't regret it, he's a whole bunch of fun :)

Any one else "pre-ordered" Slammer from Amazon?
I thought for £19 I may as well give it a chance. What's the worse that can happen they cancel the order I guess.
Prob put an order in on Pulse / ID / Kapow perhaps when he's available in the future.

Not ordered or going to order any of the Golden disk collection unless tonight's is Terrorsaur but my guess is if it is, he will sell out fast as he's a mainline bot. That is unless its some altered dimension weird ass colour scheme like the rest have been :(

Have we had any images of the Cybertronian Metroplex yet? This will be the last one I’m after until Hasbro announce another one. Lol

@w00dimusPr1me - Fingers crossed Amazon come good on Slammer. I’ve got the figure POd with them and the Ark saga I experienced doesn’t inspire me with confidence in them.

No. I don't believe it's even been found in warehouse listings just yet, but it's one of the stronger rumours.

Kind of holding out hope it's War For / Fall of Cybertron Metroplex, which would be a good enough aesthetic for my IDW1-heavy collection. Or, like I said, it's a UT one but they do a whiter Selects redeco that is close enough to tempt me. I'm not a fan of the design of the T30 one, would only get it at a bargain price, and of course it goes for a lot right now.

Mine is apparently due on Saturday from IDT. Couldn't resist the cape. Or the Mindwipe mold.

I just like the idea of...shall we say, some of the more petulant members of the BW fandom bristling at the wholesale slaughter of their beloveds. Hasbro does hate you after all.

I support both you and your ideas.

Ah, so the payday is here, and there isn't any Slags anywhere to be found!! Does anyone know where I can find a reasonably cheap Slag?

I've now subbed to the 40k magazine and it really is a great entry point. Its doing a pretty good job of teaching me the rules, too.

There are ways to keep things cheap, like keeping an eye out on eBay and not buying citadel branded paints and accessories where possible.

(more seriously, I've not seen him anywhere recently, but other than the usuals, it might be worth keeping an eye on the hasbro ebay as they seem to get stuff different to pulse, so maybe it'll turn up there? Who knows.)

I’m super happy I took the plunge after some convincing from this thread.

Know some of the lads had said he’d shot up in value pre-US reissue, so if you were ever looking to move him on you’d make your money back.

Chances we get a better G1 Scorponok than Earthrise in the next decade are low.

Would love a shrunk down comic sized version if Hasbro ever wanted to take another go.
