The only Brad Pitt figure anyone will ever need.

But I can be your pal, guy.

If there was one figure that would definitely benefit from a grubby battle effect deco....

The back of the box for MFT states it’s a MIG-25, which is weird when you consider that his tank mode is a Japanese Type 74 main battle tank.

    image.jpg image.jpg

Blitzwing must have ended up in Russia or Japan before joining with the rest of the Decepticons but I don’t quite understand why his alt modes are Japanese or Russian and not from the same place. The only possibility I can think of would be that Shockwave actually created him with information Megatron no doubt shared with him or something.

I really like the MFT repaint, maybe there’s a 4th Autobot triple changer called Overcharge that came from the same line of drones Blitzwing did ;)

This pretty much sums up 80% of Youtube.

Somehow I knew you'd end up buying this...

I don't have the trailer, sword or guns anymore because @Art Vandelay ate them, but I've still got the robot and gun (and SlitherFlange) if you're interested.

In other news, I STILL haven't opened Scourge, Wreck Gar or Gnaw. I spent last night taking the very brave step to change the pickups in one of my guitars, something I've never done before (and haven't used a soldering iron since school). The whole experience was terrifying, frustrating but once I'd googled soldering (in particular, what 'tinning' wires means) and wiring diagrams, I managed to somehow achieve it and it still works this morning. For some reason I have the masochistic desire to do it all over again with another guitar too.

Hi Mel thanks for the offer but I've got it on hold for Insurgent til Dec.

Note: I will be selling on a lot of cheap as new Marvel Legends over the next few weeks. Buying entire waves I'm not keen on to build Ursa Major and Armadillo.

    Cheers!

I have a surprisingly good copy of MP-52, which is probably why it's so hard to chose.

    I guess... Why not both?

    Morning All,

@Orion Ghia - any closer to making a decision on MP52 v DS CW? Too soon?

That is a sweet group you have.

That is a fantastic price for the KO MP44. Can I ask where you got that from? Does that price include vat or was it lucky enough to sneak through? Did you go for the one with white or silver legs?

@bcm77 - collected that item for you this morning

On a different note, can anyone confirm how quick the results come through on a PCR test? Couple of days sound about right?

A girl in my son’s class was confirmed positive yesterday and apparently she carries a torch for my son and the chances of her sharing with him is quite high. Anyway, he was coughing a fair bit over the weekend and his LFT came back negative on Saturday which was re-assuring but the school requires the PCR one to be done. Fingers crossed he doesn’t have to have any more nasal swabs as I think bribery will be the only way forward. It was comical how he bargained with both myself and the health representatives over not having his tonsils swabbed and only one nostril for a few seconds was offered up by him.

I think I'm right in saying that a Russian pilot defected to the west in the early 89s by flying a MiG-25 to Japan, so it was probably quite a 'popular' fighter jet in Japan at the time.

There is that option keeping both. Lol

The size difference isn’t as noticeable within the photo you posted above. Both look good.

Bad craic, hope your son's test comes back negative.

Generally no more than 2 days. But (at least in this corner of the world) rarely takes more than 24hrs.

Finished Season 1 of He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe and yeah, more of this please. Lots more. Most of it lands, it's a complete reimagining and all the better for it, but Skeletor is a total delight. Unhinged, powerful and an absolute prick, he steals the screen every time he's on it with crazed monologues I'm not entirely convinced are not ad libbed.

Just bought myself a new apartment. Partially (mostly) because i needed an extra room to store assorted robots and mechanical animals.

Was about time really. I have lived in the same apartment for quite a few years now. The new apartment is practically next door so its one of the laziest moves in history, but its nearly twice the size of the old one so I feel fine.

It's starting to look like Skelly will get his own figure in the 7" Masterverse line and I can't wait. They've taken all the best bits of Skeletor down the years and made him menacing, LOL funny, crazed and downright brilliant.
