    That makes sense actually. I'd love more OSKO of the 'high end' legends stuff, like iron factory

    Morning All.

    Does anyone collect these?

    I bought these for my son two Christmas’ a go (he was 6 at the time) and he initially showed some interest and that lasted (sadly) 5 mins. Really thought I could get him into TFs and playing with conventional toys rather than joining the console generation straight out of the womb. Console seems to have won that war.

    My wife is also on a de-clutter drive and was quite happy for these to be moved on.

    They were bought from HLJ.

    Anyway, let me know if of interest. I can keep to one side before I look at putting up elsewhere.

    Belated congrats to @MyTea Boc and @w00dimusPr1me . Lovely news.

    My brother’s wife gave birth back in March to their daughter, Amalie (pronounce it as if it was spelt Ammer Lee in your best east London accent dropping the ‘h’ to the word hammer). My mum and dad still struggle with her name and call her Emelie or Amelia.

    Whilst over the moon and on cloud nine my brother will attest that it is a younger person’s game and him being aged 45 is certainly making him muster up all the energy he can. Amalie is not big on sleeping and is quite the challenge. Haha. Karma for me.

    Here you go. My son 8 years ago to the day. He was 20 days old in that photo 29/9/2013):

    My wife knitted that purple blanket you can see. That blanket was a god send. The texture when touching his face would make his eyes flutter and then fall asleep instantly. It was a magical blanket. My brother is not getting that :D .

    I haven't watched it religiously, and indeed haven't read every last issue of the comic as the "going out of its way to shock" thing isn't really my bag. Besides, my wife wasn't keen on it, and the way we order our lives our means TV-watching time is often both of us together, so there tend to be compromises. She quite enjoyed the Preacher TV show though :)

    I would class Preacher's TV adaptation as the right way to adapt - use the DNA but make something else. A lot of the changes were, to me, improvements - let's see how The Boys pans out (even if I have to watch it alone at midnight or something!)

    :p  Took me a minute...

    Maybe they could watch Amelie. That might help. French spelling of the same name, and a fun film to boot. (May be biased, it's the film I watched the evening after I moved in with my then-girlfriend, now-wife :D )

    EDIT: Swapped some exclamation marks for smileys because it all looked a bit much :eek:

    Today's arrival, I think it's gonna be slim pickings this week unless stock actually arrives when it's supposed to. Might keep this for Sunday.

    The box art is like when Family Guy takes the piss out of a franchise or something.

    Only saw a few episodes of Preacher so I need to go back to it. Sadly with Ennis' books the first few are always great then he throws the kitchen sink at it, hoping you'll just laugh at depravity somehow. So I'd love for them to use his concepts without being beholden to it like you say.... so I really need to use Amazon Prime more, really :oops:

    @Siege Fan,
    Are you getting the figure of Donatello as Batman?

    I saw pics of that a little while ago and wondered about getting it to represent both the Turtles and Batman on my shelves :D

    Loot Crate exclusive mate, you'd to spend a few hundred dollars on figures and tat you didn't want to get that. Last year's was a stretch even with better figures. And the t-shirts are always... I probably wouldn't wear that colour around my house.

    ...

    Daniel Craig’s awkward exchange during No Time To Die red carpet interview

    Allegedly that movie needs 900 million dollars to break even they cranked up the hype machine then shut it down so many times, plus a supposed million + a month on the loan that funded it.

    So naturally Danny is pissed off again as he's been after every one of these movies and wearing a pink jacket for reasons. And has flip-flopped a bit on 'the agenda' and reasoning around the movie while the director called Connery's Bond a rapist. That'll help :oops:

    The IDT warehouse sale starts at 7pm. My questions: will they put all the sale stuff up at once or add bits every so often? Will all the sale items be easily findable by the search function? And, crucially, has someone at their ISP put 50p in the meter and fed the hamster in the treadmill, such that their website can run with more than three people looking at it?

    @Siege Fan,
    If it's an Exclusive I think I'll buy a regular Donny and make a cape for him as it'd save cash, hassle and getting more unecessary tat :D

    Holy fuck, Lego, sort that pricing out :eek:

    They're gonna run the brand into the ground again at this rate.

    The warehouse sale doesn't just mean discounts though.

    ID keep a large stock of hard to finds across most genres inc tfs like wfc coneheads, paragon medic, seekers, earthrise Scorponok etc etc etc. These don't go up on the site usually.

    They take these to the comic cons/trade shows etc etc so they have interesting finds for collectors. Best marketing tool they could use.

    Sometimes, they totally run out of space.

    What never works with the warehouse sale is the stock alerts.
