Needed some proper tactile real stuff to offset all the screen staring number crunching today, so dug out kingdom warpath and inferno and finally installed the go better kits i got for them months ago. Inferno is now perfect, much love for this guy as he was a favourite toy as a kid and warpath now transforms without needing that shield fuxing up his robot mode shape. They even printed little rings on the front of the tank pieces like the real world sheridan so the new parts blend in better.

Eventually I'll get to stickering jazz and bugbite. Lol.

@Siege Fan had a quick looks, smyths website only has the animated superman and batman. Ww and comic supes are plentiful on ebay for 20 each, and other sites for supes too, so I'm not worried they'll dissappear anytime soon.

Anybody else miffed that there doesn't seem to be rescaled versions of the "Code Of Hero" blaster, or "Coming Of The Fuzors" gear that Shockwave's Lab or Model 005 did for MP Dinobot?

Would totally misappropriate (and possibly re-colour) for Maximal Grimlock!

SS86 Gnaw is lovely - loads of character. I love the TR legend version, but this is definitely a step up. It really remimds you what a bloody strange design it was in the first place. He's going to go beautifully with my Allicon!

    Edit: Next up - Wreck-Gar!

RIP Sir Clive “I don’t use a computer” Sinclair.

Spectrum ZX and Jet Set Willy. What fun! Named it ZX because it sounded cool and futuristic.

    9E91B5EF-42EF-467A-AD82-1F93295883A5.png

The dilemma facing many of us kids of the 80s was do you get the Spectrum ZX or the Commodore 64. Today it’s PS5 or Xbox. Haha.

One gateway into gaming for many of us known as old school gamers.

The loss of a pioneer of home computing.

He’s a lovely figure, mate of mine picked him up when he came out and I wish I had too. I’m sorted with my MFT Thunderbolt though :)

This is ridiculous. Now they've got me buying these just for the headsculpt. Smh. Hasbro might as well hold on to my wallet at this point. :D

Just cancelled my order for x2 Gnaw with Pulse. I had placed the order with Smyths in the latter part of the afternoon today. Notification received, Smyths have processed the order. Great stuff.

I think I only have SG Starscream outstanding with Pulse. Will let this run. Oh yeah I have the Haslab VSaber order in place.

I think I’ve cancelled over 80-90% of my Pulse orders.

Treads seems obvious, then what about the Decepticon soldier/general from the Devastation game? I guess for the hoistbreaker mold, some Diaclone stuff could work? Slap a lightbar on the top for Decepticon Flatline as an oddball maybe?

Warpath definitely. Did it get a repack in a later wave at least?

I would think green gobot tredz and treadshot were nailed on maybe gutcruncher like the movie legend repaint. Hoistbraker I'm sure will eventually get diaclone versions after the mould has had room to breathe.

Could see the next hasbro pulse 5 capsule set (sg this time) being diaclone next time myself or g2.

Not sure there is much they can do with runamuck and runabout other than the devastation drones.

Wreck-Gar is fun. Great 'bot mode, very poseable. The alt mide feels slightly gappy, but given his character it fits quite nicely. My only real complaint is that the wheels fall off of his arms/legs in robot mode but that may just be me not getting something right.

One of the most pleasant surprises of the year. I was dubious about the size class at first, but it feels pretty spot on for an '86 movie display. I'll actually be tempted the repaint/remould that's coming up, which surprises me!

    @SJW,
I had a rubber keyed Spectrum, some great games despite the headache inducing patterns during loading which were accompanied by noises that sounded like Scousers on helium :D

Best football game was Match Day II, I also had a Transformers game for it and dozens of bad arcade ports, those were the days :D

I also have a misty memory of a Sinclair C5 being on display in one of the shopping centres in Nottingham...I reckon it would have caught on if it had hovered!

With the ease of the conversion I'm surprised the Customisers' Curse is yet to strike me regarding Flatline!
I am most disappointed we haven't gotten a cheeky Devastation Ground Troopers blue n' orange 2-pack, or even a cheeky recolour/rehead as Throttlebot Searchlight.

And finally, Slag. Just like Grimlock he's a chunky chap. He's a bit more awkward to transform though - a bit like a few other releases of late you need to line things up with some small tabs which can be a bit frustrating. It didn't help that I accidentally popped his tail off, which took me forever to get back on...

It's absolutely worth it though. Such a wonderful dino mode (and I love the rear dino leg transformation!) that goes perfectly with big Grim. These are shaping up to be the definitive Dinobots & I can't wait to see the next one. They're an absolute dream come true.

Oh yeah. Daniel. Um, well, that's something that exists. Not too likely to be replacing the version that came with MP Bee on my shelf, if I'm honest...
