That is a fantastic price for the KO MP44. Can I ask where you got that from? Does that price include vat or was it lucky enough to sneak through? Did you go for the one with white or silver legs?

On a different note, can anyone confirm how quick the results come through on a PCR test? Couple of days sound about right?

A girl in my son’s class was confirmed positive yesterday and apparently she carries a torch for my son and the chances of her sharing with him is quite high. Anyway, he was coughing a fair bit over the weekend and his LFT came back negative on Saturday which was re-assuring but the school requires the PCR one to be done. Fingers crossed he doesn’t have to have any more nasal swabs as I think bribery will be the only way forward. It was comical how he bargained with both myself and the health representatives over not having his tonsils swabbed and only one nostril for a few seconds was offered up by him.

I think I'm right in saying that a Russian pilot defected to the west in the early 89s by flying a MiG-25 to Japan, so it was probably quite a 'popular' fighter jet in Japan at the time.

Generally no more than 2 days. But (at least in this corner of the world) rarely takes more than 24hrs.

 

Finished Season 1 of He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe and yeah, more of this please. Lots more. Most of it lands, it's a complete reimagining and all the better for it, but Skeletor is a total delight. Unhinged, powerful and an absolute prick, he steals the screen every time he's on it with crazed monologues I'm not entirely convinced are not ad libbed.

 

Which version and where did you obtain for such a good price please?

Just bought myself a new apartment. Partially (mostly) because i needed an extra room to store assorted robots and mechanical animals.

Was about time really. I have lived in the same apartment for quite a few years now. The new apartment is practically next door so its one of the laziest moves in history, but its nearly twice the size of the old one so I feel fine.

 

It's starting to look like Skelly will get his own figure in the 7" Masterverse line and I can't wait. They've taken all the best bits of Skeletor down the years and made him menacing, LOL funny, crazed and downright brilliant.

Seriously though, if you're collecting toon figures, it's gotta be the holy scale chart.

MP52 is pretty much perfect in size, although Shockwave is actually a touch too small.

 

You can probably tell by The presence of Magic Square Prime and The repaint I've done on Megatron and Ratchet that I ain't collecting toon or slave any scale chart  

 

Dunno what that is but I love it.

This is the sort of 'I'll check to be sure' feeling I get when wiring a plug or socket

My son does suffer a little bit with hay fever and he has recently lost one of the top front teeth with the other one close to departing. I do wonder if a combo of that has caused sinus matters /increase amount of phlegm that is trickling down into his throat that has caused him to suffer an irritating cough.

He hasn’t presented with any other covid symptoms so hopefully he gets the all clear.

The trailer did nothing for me. But it finally popped up in recommended yesterday and I watched the scene preview thingy it does. It was the bit where Skeletor is going on about the age of greyskull is over and begins the age of skeletor (I'm guessing it was his initial skeletor reveal by how they did it). That preview got me interested enough to give the show a chance.

 

Once upon a time a finnish director made a film about a fictional band called Leningrad cowboys that tried to get a break in America. Think Spinal Tap but a few factors stranger.

This fictional band decided it wasnt enough to be fictional and kept going for several years after the movie, holding concerts and releasing records decades afterwards.

This video is from a concert in Finland just a few years after the Berlin wall fell where the SOMEHOW managed to get the Red army choir, yes its the actual red army choir of the soviet military, in concert mixing russian traditional songs and american rockabilly. Its absolutely insane and absolutely awseome.
