    inferno would be fantastic were it not for one of his elbow pins. its not pushed in all the way, resulting in the arm not pegging in fully in truck mode, meaning the already low ground clearance is even worse. if the legacy repack is real, then ill get one of those (providing they all have un-painted thighs!)

    More for the tubs like me :p

    Ugh, remember those tayto cheese and onion chocolate bars? Unholy Union. I had to send a full box of them to work colleagues in London because they went mad for them during a visit.

    Beautiful!

    Good work Rob! If your stiff, it just means it's working.

    Hmmm. What are you up to now Mel?

    After creating an Optimus Prime and a Hot Rodimus from parts of the Siege Sideswipe/Deep Cover/Tigertrack moulds, I had parts left over.
    After a brief cameo as Captain Americabot I decided to throw that bot in some purple dye as the Decepticon community where lacking.

    The result was... evil! :eek:

    Ok time to post my thoughts on my latest bots! First up, Slug/Slag/Slatery!

    DSC01796.JPG DSC01798.JPG

    Love the robot mode. Gave him gave him a FOC Voyager Grimlock sword which works well enough for me not to want to buy the 3d printed ones right now. Love the dour face and has good articulation.

    Dino mode is adorable and has my only real issue with the figure. I wish they could have figured out some form of head articulation. Even just tilting it. I understand why it was sacrificed and I really like everything else about it though. Love the sculpted detail and the brilliant weapon storage. Looks great with Sky Lynx's blast effects too.

    DSC01799.JPG DSC01801.JPG DSC01800.JPG

    Gnaw/Gnorman is neat. The paint is brilliant. Transformation is more involved than I thought though wasn't a fan of having to plug his fin in. Seems a superfluous weapon considering the flail tail. Look a lot more menacing than his TR counterpart but they're different enough for me to keep both.

    DSC01802.JPG DSC01804.JPG DSC01805.JPG DSC01806.JPG

    Popped over to my Dad's today to sort a PC problem and he gave me £20, so popped in to Smyths on the way back and bought a £15 SS Kup...and I'm not sure if he's better than my TR one. The colours are more vibrant on TR but the SS one is more accurate and seems more "old beat up future truck." Transformation on both is kinda fiddly for different reasons but I like them both. SSA86 definitely has better accessories and the robot mode looks more like the Kup I know from IDW, Marvel and the show. I'll probably keep both.

    Sunday.

    About to watch United against West Ham.

    Pre-match feeling after looking at the midfield,
    [IMG]
    Which may as well be for the rest of the season seeing as how they spent £75 million on a useless prat (Sancho) and didn't address the real midfield issue. Ah well, at least there's Ronaldo and Greenwood to enjoy.

    @Brum Bot,
    Dark Side Of The Ring - S03E08 - The Plane Ride From Hell (Full Episode) - YouTube

    @Siege Fan,
    I like both but I've always been more inclined towards crisps and nuts than sweets.

    Toys,
    Gnaw is on standby to open after the game.

    Also expecting some news on MAFEX Magneto shortly.

    Question for the panel: does anyone own, or knows anyone who owns, a 3d printer? I've had it on my mind for a little while that if they've reached the point where semi-decent ones are becoming affordable it might be worth thinking about investing in one for custom accessories and getting around the soaring costs of Shapeways. It's just a thought at the moment of course, but I was wondering if anyone had any experience of that sort of thing.

    Brendan, I’m doing my best to continue to not watch football in the hope Arsenal go from being a mid level team at best to the time they were the invincibles. Hell, I’d be okay with the boring glory days grinding out one nil results under Graham again.

    Have a fiddle with Gnaw during the footie. I think he is great. It is a shame the budget couldn’t extend to giving ball joints/more articulation for the little arms/hands in alt mode. Same situation as Grimlock in t-Rex mode with his little arms. Quite the upgrade though over the TR & MFT KO Gnaw. I’m still happy with them (especially MFT with those paint apps) and a mix of all these Sharkticons will help visually with a display:

    Good printers are pretty affordable now - look at the Creality range for examples - for smaller more detailed parts you may want to look at resin printers although they are messier and more expensive to run but they still are available for £2-400 for decent ones.
