This could have been so much better, it’s a real shame as Super Megatron turned out to be in my opinion the best thing Generation Selects has ever done.

I wonder if Takara Super Megatron is in an accurate scale to MMC Star Convoy, he is a big dude after all?

I really need Make Toys to reissue Trash-Talk or Hasbro to give us a new mold of Swindle now that I've a Tiny TV and some Micro Toy Box goodies to pose him with.

Gen Sel Super megs is far too short against MMC Stellarus Prominon. These characters should be combiner sized. Super Megs is just fractionally taller than Siege/ER Megs around 7.5-8 inches tall. MMC Stellarus Prominon is 13 inches tall. They don’t work together.

Gen Sel Star Convoy is too short at 9 inches tall but would work with Gen Sel Super Megs and TR Overlord. Unfortunately Siege Jetfire scuppers the bot scale for them and CW Combiners.

Photo below of MMC and Takara Star Convoy:

Got a slight stomach ache this morning due to overdoing it with comfort eating last night but otherwise feeling a little better.

Rebecca ferret is currently out having a wander and I'm preparing to listen to what will hopefully be a triumphant return for Ronaldo on the radio 'cos it's not on live TV in the country where it's taking place

    EDIT,
    @doucoo,
Should my finances ever allow it a Countach is yours!

At present the best I can do is a transforming one which is cool but not drivable :D

I guess, but I’d personally be fine with it due to the fact that Star Convoy is big enough to have a base mode for Micromasters. I wonder if MMC plan to do their own Super Megatron?

I really hope MMC do their own version of the character but if Stellarus Prominon didn’t do as well as they hoped it would do and the QC leg issue would have done harm (no proper base as well), they may not go forward with other characters linked to Star Convoy.

I guess there are similar considerations to be made like with Haslab VSaber and JG1 characters. MMC may feel this area is too risky for them.

Maybe those in the group more versed with MMC products can comment on this?

I don’t think Star Convoy struggled to sell, it was just the leg issues that turned people off. It’s also a very simple toy for its size from what I’ve heard, as smaller figures have done more in terms of features than this guy. I wouldn’t worry about them not continuing the line though.

I know Victory characters have mostly appeared in the comics, but MMC tend to do what they want to do. I really want them to do Armada characters, or even just Unicron Trilogy. They make good sword wielding bots like their Drift/Deadlock so more of that would be welcome.

    Give me a Bludgeon MMC.

    They look awesome!
The Groot is from the TRU exclusive 5 pack. I got him split from the pack on eBay, I don't believe that it saw a release over here. He has the red trim, rather than the white which came on the more obtainable two pack release.

I do miss the old Marvel Universe figures, I've always preferred 3.75 to 6 inch scale figures.

Ordered at 1:50am, delivered at 12:50pm. Amazon prime FTW.
Wrong shoulders, but when I bought the G2 megs cannon I was given a free set of fillers for this gentleman.

And here it is, ready to drown.

"The Thing" was one of my pal Rick's favourite movies and along with "The Fog" he'd been urging me to give them try for some time and I finally did a few months back....they're both great!

So glad we were able to have those conversations as I know it meant a lot to him to share those favourites.

I really like the 2008 Guardians costumes and was pleased they finally did a nod with Rocket's costume for Avengers Endgame.
