Thats quite 'cute' in a way, considering how many characters Furman has written for over the years. He still had some that he might not have had a chance to. To be fair Armada Thrust does get a bit of action and he's a cone head in Armada too!

Given all the drama surrounding it I'm happy to limit my MOTU fix to Origins Fisto and maybe Ram Man and Mosquitor.

I have no problem with anyone discussing it here because whilst cartoons are not really my thing all I have to do is scroll past any of the talk which takes seconds.

I imagine the official MOTU thread to be a far greater clusterfuck of differing opinions and as offputting as I find the WWE and related figure threads.

    @Xaran Alamas,
Good point! I would have to keep something that expensive away from Rebecca though, as will be the case when my Hot Toys Blurrg arrives at some point next year......something else I'm also thinking about with a move is being able to have more space to display my stuff.

Exactly, I bought Dai Atlas cause he's a big Irn Bru coloured robot with wings and a massive sword. I know next to nothing about Zone, he's just cool.

I love a cool looking robot and there is no doubt that Star Saberis cool looking. He has a heroic colour scheme and multiple modes.
It would be cool if the Haslab version came with the other Brainmasters as stretch goals.

Ragman is a great character, definitely worth reading his stories online.
I mostly know through the old Shadowpact comic and a few one shot comics and Batman appearances.

It's basically his version of Transform and roll out! They also use it in the opening song of victory and I think the narrator ends the next episode preview by shouting it. It's essentially the catchphrase of the Victory show.

Not to go too off topic, and to start by saying I absolutely have not been following the discussion on chatting about Mental Health. But wanted to quickly say, a few years ago I finally had to start facing my own issues and I found the thread really helpful in normalising talking about MH. At the time it definitely was something I felt extremely ashamed of. In fact I dug up this message I sent to @bcm77 at the time

    Screenshot 2021-08-24 15.58.41.png

Obviously this was just a step and I got pro help; the real work came with therapy, medication and a lot of work on my self. Now I'm really comfortable being open & honest about it. A couple of years ago I wrote a piece about it on a Charity's Blog and I was really surprised at the number of people who reach out to me, including friends who I would never have guessed had been through similar struggles. I even have a good number of people who I've met in real life, who I've bonded with after it came out we were on the same anti-depressants (turns out Sertraline is super common!)

I think I've mentioned before how this thread has been really helpful for me, though maybe not specifically why. I really do treasure it as a safe space, even though most of us have never met! Like I said, this isn't a response to anyone's comments and of course it in no way has replaced any of the avenues for help/work I (and I imagine anyone else) needs to manage MH issues. If anything, its a chance to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone in the thread for making it the calm oasis in an Internet otherwise full of garbage.

    Right enough of the monologue.

And to get back on topic: I'm looking for a Shark Transformer to get all customy on. Any got any recommendations for anything basic, minimum pins but still good looking? these are the best I've come across so far

I honestly cannot keep up with this thread!

Every time I check-in there's another few hundred posts to read :popcorn

Too long, couldn't read (sorry, I don't have the dedication of others :(

A new arrival of my own came today, but it's not a new product. It's the WJ OSKO of the Toyworld Throttlebots!

    Wow that's a beast of a package!!

All I've done is open the factory sealed box so far, but despite the artwork and the advert showing G1 colours throughout*. The Chase figure in the box is actually.... orange, not red.

    20210824_170005.jpg

I will admit I'm disappointed, but then none of the figures are actually the original Throttlebots vehicles, so should I be?

Help threadizens, thoughts and opinions welcomed!

    * The box shows Searchlight / Aurora in both white and blue options.

Has anybody here heard or used a site called maurals.com?

They seem to have a load of interesting stuff like spare parts for toys plus retail figures at half the normal price.

I think CM Punk turned up and killed He-Man and now everyone's waiting to see if Star Saber can save everyone.

I'd offer an opinion if Naval Commander ever bloody leaves the airport grumble grumble.
