House move went well. Now sat in what is a mansion compared to the old house, lounge/conservatory hybrid in a really comfy supportive chair, the afternoon sun streaming through the giant windows, car in a drive behind a gate instead of a car park full of vans, chill music playing. No more grass to cut. Secluded back garden without being overgrown. Just need to give it a deep clean and some fresh paint and plaster work. I feel content. I feel at peace. I hope everyone else is having a good day.

It's a gross recolour of an already over used and not that great a mold representing a noone character who AFAIK has had less screen time then the tetrajets.

I think it's a bigger picture. I think season 2 will flow off Strange 2/Spidey 3, and possibly into Ant 3, or similar. Perhaps off those 3 and into F4?

One thing for sure is that you can watch the films without the TV shows, and that's something Feige has said, I believe, so they can't upset things too drastically if the subject matter is related to things in the films. I'm not sure how long that can last though, before you end up in AoS/Netflix territory...just with slightly more linked stories. FYI, I loved AoS and Netflix, so I'm good, but for those who want stuff to fully integrate I think there's only so long it can last.

Topping and tailing each season with film footage won't keep the D+ subs going for those folks

That Funko looks really nice, it has some personality which many of them tend to lack.

No doubt the HasLab Galactus will look fantastic but because I'm a silly bugger I've got far too much stuff on pre-order and might have to resell my Razor Crest unopened at a profit to help cover the Hot Toys figures I've got coming next year.

I'm seeing a lot of folks questioning having Star Saber and Victory Leo go through Haslab, and whilst I would tend to agree that it should really be for 'big ticket' items, I have a strong suspicion that Hasbro feels like Victory characters in the wider market 'may' be a tough sell, since the cartoon isn't as widely known outside Japan.

I think that they're worried that if they drop Star Saber into Legacy as a mainline Commander and he tanks due to non-recognisibility then that will stop other Victory characters from appearing going forward - so, no Dezsaras, no mainline Liokaizer, no Road Caesar, no Dinoforce, no Galaxy Shuttle, no Blue Bacchus et al. The fact that Liokaiser and Big Powered were produced by Takara and there's only been one Victory MP plays into this, I think.

Yes, we see fans asking for all of these characters regularly, but online chatter doesn't always translate into enough sales to justify moving in certain directions - look at the Battlemasters/Micormasters etc - we think they're great but in real numbers, they tanked.

Basically, if you want more non-G1 going forward you HAVE to buy Star Saber AND Victory Leo. That's my suspicion.

 

I got my Galvatron delivered today, although I just made an bizarre discovery: His shoulders are misassembled! Looks like I'll be getting a news credit for this.
