Appropriately enough you've got a few speedboats. Or Scourge as he likes to be known...

    Yep. :p

Maybe a TF that transforms into a caravan would be nice. Hitch it up to Hoist or Trailbreaker. :D

Having just read last stand and sins for the first time, I enjoyed sins more but you probably should read last stand first

    It's Strongsad Mags!
To be fare the deco accurately reflects how dull Netflix Siege actually is! :p

Please don't talk about lubing up your 'G1 OP's tyre' on here - it's a family forum no matter what euphemisms you use...

If it were somehow possible for a brick and mortar shop to get toys in in a guaranteed, timely manner then I'd probably be happy to pay a bit of a markup... I do love the Aladdin's cave idea and it's part of the reason why carboots are still so much fun.

Ultimately though, FOMO and a thirsty desire to know more about upcoming releases make me my own worst enemy.

Had my second dose of Pfizer yesterday. Last time around the side-effects were pretty standard - felt woozy and sore in the arm / joints generally, for about 48 hours.

This time there's barely any pain at all but I'm still woozy. I keep dropping things and, as I type this, my fingers feel slightly warm and fuzzy. I actually feel... quite nice? :D  Like, drunk but without any of the negatives.

Might quit alcohol for covid jabs once everybody has had two :D

Can I ask, how old are you and/or have you read any of the 1980s Marvel UK Transformers stuff? The years now referred to as "Phase One" are largely written by Simon Furman and are very much a new spin on the old material, doing their own thing but still heavily rooted in it. There was a brief interregnum with Shane McCarthy as lead writer and then Mike Costa took over...
I would read Maximum Dinobots and Chaos Theory from that period, because to my mind that's Furman's and Costa's best bits respectively. The Dinobot one is full of big lads punching each other while declaiming extremely ornate sentences... because Furman, bless him :)  If you like those, you can dip into the other stuff, but if not you'll have a rough sense of what went on, enough to move forward with occasional help from tfwiki.net :)

Phase Two opens when the war ends and lots of people, including me, think the first 22-odd issues of More Than Meets The Eye are a strong candidate for best TF fiction of all time.

Such insight is rare:)  think you are right in a lot of ways about that. Transformers were the only kind of action figures that my friends of Asian and African/Carribbean descent would get fanatical about when we were kids.

This was a terrible idea, sad to report that my OG1 OP's tyres are in a right old state, squash damage deformation and severe cracking. Doubt a bit of prehistoric moisturizer will do them any good whatsoever. He's seen the wars, poor t'owd lad, and way less than 4.5 million years of it to boot!

I was initially charmed BUT, unfortunately, it's a total one-note one-joke scenario. Like, LITERALLY.

    No cloak????

    So here's what's gonna happen:

I'm going to skip grey Galvy because I never owned the original toy.
    Prices will skyrocket on secondary.
I'm going finally catch up to him in the Marvel comics.
    Some scalper will profit.

    Ugh...

Also, motivated myself to do a job application by not allowing myself to unbox this beast (ooof, sorry) till it was done. Deadline was midnight, he was unboxed at 23:35! All Hail Megatrons!

    Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate Hermes so much, I had to go out for a few hours this morning - so of course they sent a "we are on our way" email followed by a "we left it with your neighbour" email.

Except, no note through the door or single clue online as to what neighbour - Do I just keep knocking on everyone's doors until I find it?
