    SUCESS IT WAS THE PROCESSOR.

Swapped mine out for her s and it works. I'm donating mine to her as it was the same as mine and gonna use a refund from HMRC for to see about getting a slight budget upgrade.

Fingers crossed someone will offer 'Gavalar' for a few quid cheaper, £59 is more than a little bit cheeky.

Unfortunately not mate, don’t think you’ll find him in stores until at least end of this month maybe August with the way the distribution has been going.

Put in a pre-order with BBTS for Selects Galvatron as he was only £40 there. Really looking forward to this!

    All hail Galvatron!

Smyths are still doing their traditional "arriving this week date range" which then moves back a week.

I've been vacillating a bit about it myself but £62.99 at ID has settled it down a bit (not a knock on ID, I know they're doing their best - importing ain't cheap), also telling myself "IF" I get the porple Kingdom fella it'll have to be at clearance/sale price.
If we get Toy Colours Cyclonus I hope he's a smidge less inflated in cost though!

One Galvy ordered at Pulse but he's the backup order to the two at BBTS. If Pulse ship faster I'll cancel one at BBTS.

£9 extra for some stickers and a much cheaper box? Despite how many of us really want that look I can see it being around the sites for quite a while at that price. Especially since many just bought Kingdom with it's pishy shoulder!

Well, Toy/Marvel Galvatron was enough to get me to pop my pulse cherry.

Sub £60 I don’t mind, I want that deco on a modern Galvatron and I don’t want to end up kicking myself for not jumping on it and then it going up towards the tonne mark afterwards.

Since he's meant to be getting repacked, I can see the toon galvy drop in price at some point. I may pick him up then.

As for the selects... yeah, it's cheaper than ID. But I can't help feel it's frog in boiling water situation. I'm not clamouring for him, so I think I need to hop out of the pan. Saying that, upon reviews and seeing him stickerless, the pang of want may return, but for the good of my wallet, both now and future, need to step away. He's only ten quid less than X-Panse, and this guy doesn't even have the excuse of licensing. Maybe one day, he'll turn up in a sale. If not.... well, not the end of the world for the collection.

But I am really happy for folks like @barry to be able to get him.

In other news, finally got round to trying to finish Thunderbirds are go. Got 10 episodes left to finish the series. It really is a great show, and shows how to redesign something and update stuff while keeping true to the spirit of the original is the way to go.

You and me both, this incremental shift to the versions of figures I really want being the more expensive exclusive versions is definitely the Monkey's Paw side of wanting them to be easier to get in the UK - I'm already feeling the heat, I can tell you!

Its also the case of the higher the price, the more picky i get. And the crown being a different colour is a nitpick. 60 quid is a good price for someone who is burning for it (and this from some who is getting twrecks from siegefan and i imagine will be over 50).

In true style though, once he gets released and we see proper reviews, I'll probably throw all this out the window and get him. Because I'm hooked on this damned crack. :lolol  I'll hop right back in that pan.

I've a feeling this Galvo will end up in sales 9-12 months from now (assuming the independents can get stock) - I think the recent price hikes and closeness to the mainline release will hit the sales of this one.

Course my FOMO means I'll pay full price now rather than roll the dice.

The only reason I got in on the £50 X-Spanse is because it took so long for the UK stock to arrive, that Amazon US was dumping their excess stock.

    get in the sea.

    upload_2021-7-6_20-7-46.png
    you too.

Americans are paying the equivalent of £40. I shouldn't be paying more, and if BBTS doesn't incur the wrath of customs or a similar evil, i'll only be paying the extra charge of postage... which is still £6 less than Pulse!
    i saw that, knew you'd have a complaint! :D
seems a bit too terminator-y, plus isnt robot He-Man his own thing?

I feel that. It's a very familiar image, mostly made up of budget bots (I wonder if double target masters were oversaturated and then discounted back in the day, as they seem to be rather common Chez Britannia) with one large prestige character to lead the charge. Mine was Chromedome!

No no, you misunderstand, filth in a good way. Like Toyah :ev:

I'm a big Terminator fan so I might have to get this even if I don't buy the rest!

Faker is all kinds of complicated... in the OG show he looks just like He-Man. But that won't sell at retail so he's a mix of him and Skelly. The blue and orange really works and becomes iconic off the back of the card art of this somewhat mysterious figure (chances were you never caught his TV appearance after all). From memory he's one of a few if not the only figure to get a second run.

In Revelation he seems to have both the look of the linked figure and then the blue look later, whatever is going on.
