Thanks for the recommendation, and for clearing that up. Delta Magnus is a great colourscheme, would love to have seen Siege Magnus get a redeco as him.

    Suplex a train :lol :lolol

So where do the wings go in Vehicle Mode? Because I've been wondering if Scourge could be used as a base for Nautica as the altmode looks almost perfect for her minisub but the wings would throw it off. Would need a suitably redone torso as well as head of course and the wings would need to be replaced by her turbines.

Been putting together a new collection room recently and took the opportunity of the long weekend to make some new risers for my generations shelves.

for Devcon the wings would be removed entirely with just the backplate left intact. In an ideal world I’d use SS86 Blurr’s nosecone and a hybrid of his and Scourge’s head/face too.

I had the same idea so it's fantastic seeing it in practice, thanks!

I think so. It's been 35 years since Starsky or Hutch directed the last one and it was very different to the book. I love the original but I would happily take a book adaptation, but theres no way they'll include the 9/11 style ending.

Agreed. So many themes within the movie are scarily real today, the Running Man show itself is reality TV taken to a violent extreme.

    @CZ Hazard,
    Paul Michael Glaser (Starsky) directed.

If there's a new version being made I'll avoid like the plague. Does Hollywood not adapt NEW stories any more?

It wasnt a new story at the time. It was an adaptation.

If people want completely original movies at the cinema, people need to support original movies at the cinema.

Covid aside, when was the last time most people paid money at the cinema for a wholly new and original story? Not Star Wars or Marvel / DC. Not adapted from a book or TV shoe or video game or influenced by a true story or a tweet or something? I would argue Pixar is a brand unto itself as is Scorcese.

The last film I walked into completely 100% blind was Baby Driver, and even then I was sold by Edgar Wright without knowing what the film was.

Cheers, it was pretty cheap too, twenty quid for a pack of eight insulation boards at b & q. Did all that and I've got enough left to do one more shelf.

To be honest, I've no idea, I don't watch a lot of new films as even pre covid I hated going to the cinema and it seems increasingly like there's nothing but endless remakes or sequels to choose from.

The last 2 movies I saw in a cinema were Infinity War and Endgame and I forgot most of what occurred by the time I got home, I'm sure they were great for Marvel fans who'd spent years wanting the Infinity Saga bringing to life but I was only really watching the MCU at that point to further justify buying Rocket & Groot figures and found the ending very predictable.

Taken Barrage & Heave as far as I can for now, got some bits in the aether that may be the final element if they work as planned but I'm pretty happy how the lads have turned out so far...

The final deco is a bit turned up to 11 in contrast to the G1's more muted grey but, uh.....maybe they've picked up a Cosmic Background Radiation Space Tan?

Warched godzilla vs kong. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
why would the others get involved? Its an alpha vs alpha. They know yhats a fight above their weigjt grade so they'rekeepingout of it. Did we learn how old the girl was when the island was wiped out? If she was just a little baby when it happened, her current situationwould be all she knew so it would make sense she was so well adjusted. Didn'tseem to me like it was recent.

loved the fights, liked that there was no needless human drama, everyone was on mission throughout. Would have liked godzilla to put up a little better of a fight at the end, but the curbstomping worked for the narrative. Kongs axe was OP and he was so out of his league without it. Missed the part where they said gidorah's skull was in mechagodzilla but that helps explain the override from the fuel (i caught the telepathic link mention but thought that was just how they controlled mechagodzilla, so a second skull makes sense).

The movie delivered exactly what it promised. Two thumbs up from me.
