Thiss'un came to me on a flaming pie, in the turn of the discussion re:TR Nightbeat being the best sub, it suddenly occurred to me one could probably whittle his faceplate a more appropriate shape. Filing the crest's central divot involved some fevered praying and hoping, it did also need a bit of course-correction mid-filing, and still isn't exactly dead centred but it'll do me!
I actually had no idea about the horns until the parcel arrived today and I remembered I still had the red hilt section of a LEGO sword I'd tried & failed to fashion into a crest for Quickswitch - never throw away remainders from your failures! (Unless the failure has utterly jiggered them, of course.)
No HEAD ON yet as he needs some curing time yet but, yeah, deffo CHUFFED!

So, reluctantly put my Mondo Adventure Time Marceline statue up on eBay as the second one in the series is due and will cost three times what this one cost me, so there's no point keeping it, and after a bunch of stupid-arse low-ball offers I finally sold it for what I wanted for it today.



Picked this lad up from Kapow because, much as I think he's overpriced, if I don't get him now he'll end up with the usual Acid Rain price hike :S

Picked up Kingdom Inferno from TFS so that's one less thing for me to have to chase down next month - only Huffer needed now - and picked up some arm/leg fillers for SS86 Blurr, some leg fillers for SS86 Jazz AND some articulated hands for SS86 Grimlock which have just popped up on eBay.com -

Had a bit of a trip back through 3P memory lane last night.
Picked up Transforming Collections by Phillip Reed off the shelf.
It's quite amazing how the 3P scene has changed so much in the 7/8 years since this book came out.
Lots of addon kits and mostly CHUG style stuff as MP really hadn't kicked off from a release every year or so.
Really is lovely little timecapsule of a book.
