There was quite a decent looking combo spear in the rortichi (sp?) pictorial review thread I think

It’s not shelves I need, it’s a bigger recycle bin for cardboard. I’m gaining boxes and packaging faster than the bins are collected 4 parcels from Amazon yesterday, so 4 excessively large boxes and enough packing paper to fill a bin bag.

For you in three weeks time:

Lol, it's funny you say that, its a blizzard today! So hopefully you'll be happy.

Hmm, thanks to you, I've just noticed a couple of posts were modded back on the 11th. Never got a notice about that. I wonder what we were talking about that prompted it?

This new bed seems to be doing wonders for my back. Still a bit of pain but no where near what it was in the old bed, and I'm feeling a little more rested. Huzzah!

Got this set from ZXB today (along with their upgrades for the Datsun bros... finally)!

The spoiler definitely brings the alt mode more in-line with his OG iteration. I'll probably leave them on the arms for alt mode to minimise partsforming, but you could store then on the back of his legs if you want a cleaner look.

The leg fillers work a treat. Simple engineering that does the job. The yellow paint is a little warmer than the plastic, but it's probably a better match than the factory painted parts!

The rifle is nice, though it's painted grey rather than silver. The arm missiles are though and they wedge into place neatly enough. He also comes with a small black gun: will repurpose for a different character.

All in all, pretty pleased with this upgrade!

Hi yes for a friend let me check with him.

@AllSpark Ferret is a great seller! That’s some list. I might be interested in Grotesque. Will try to PM you soon.

@mark_h ooh thanks! I’ll check it out if I can find the thread.

Might edit later with necessary quotes. Busy Sunday.

Snow fell heavy here overnight. Had some craic earlier with my devil child.

We decided to use frozen strawberries and raspberries rather than the traditional coal and carrot, as I thought it would leave something for the birds after the thaw.

What I didn't account for is my darling little sociopath then gouging out the snowmans eyes and ripping off half his smile.

So the thawing Berry juice is making him look like he's bleeding out the eyes. I reiterate my comment from a few weeks ago. Snowmen are metal as fuck.

Haha, blimey. Yeah I should have researched him back in 2009. It was definitely a mistake to sell him regardless of cost and very pleased I got it back from you for the same cost. Proper gentleman.

Holy crap, that list is like my personal wishlist! Everything bar the Velocitron set and the clones. Shame Toy-Fu wiped me out yesterday.

Guess which one of these was an absolute nightmare to transform?
Tolerance issues all over the place. I prefer the DX9 version.
Anyone had any issues with the metallic version, just wondering if the original has similar issues, as I may buy that one as I don’t fancy transforming my one again.

Can I call upon the collective mind of the legends fans?
The chances of me finding a Hulkie seem remote so is the MFT version (correct me if I am wrong) any good? Or does anyone want to sell me their Hulkie?

Really enjoying Transformers at the moment, *almost* as much as when you’re reading MTMTE and you realise you need a Lost Light shelf.

    I’m doubling up.....

The top Megs was the harder one.

It might be easier getting hold of a downsized KO CW Devy. I’ve always thought using legend size figures with CW Combiners (11’ inches tall gestalts) would work better than what CW combiners were suppose to go with.

A cheaper option to tide you over whilst sourcing a proper legends scale Devy.

Heh. I know how you feel. In my case I seldom throw away boxes as I think I might need the boxes for a delivery or storage of figures at some point.* Result, a whole load of boxes taking up space in my bedroom.

I did recycle some recently but that was after a long time. I think I will do it again soon as there is still very little walking space in my room.

    * To be fair I do use some for storage of figures in their original boxes. I don't have the space to display them all. Might need to put up some shelves too, at some point. There are still lots empty though.

I've actually been buying less, but that's mostly a result of moving and realising just how much stuff I've got I think...

I think many of you lot are the right age and geekiness to appreciate my mutant snow goon (created from the nice snowman my kids had done earlier...)

One year of owning this guy and he is still, in my opinion, the absolute pinnacle of third party Transformers. I don't think even Planet X' s own IDW Grimlock will top it.
