It’s coming but I have the lovely Megs as well so I’m looking to use them myself, not to rub it in of course;)

Same here, I was considering it as I like the alt modes but realistically, I have plenty of other figures to catch up on.

Member of the 'More Money Than Sense' club here. Paid well over the odds and took a gamble on one of those eBay listings that popped up about two weeks back. And today, the final conehead arrived on my doorstep.

I do wish it didn't have to be this way, as it does leave a bitter taste on what should just be a fun hobby. But, there they are, together at last. Mustn't grumble.

    Nope, defo not just you.

Guess it's...proportionality, and also the size of the thing, all combined?

Also something about paying out bit less than the equivalent of a month's rent, or about 3 months worth of food, in one go...?

    All the above? :)

I think I got 3 of them at once and 2 later... But took a fair hit for it, and again, funded by sales at the time. Not sure I would pay £500 now, and will probably be selling mine on for around the £400 mark as I have only opened 3! (Then I see Vortex's head sculpt and think I should never sell them!)

Hopefully at first glance the colour difference isn't so bad in this desaturated pic (it obviously gets worse on staring lol), but my point is the camera really does oversaturate the difference relative to your eyes even in viewfinder mode!

    @SJW might have a Sunstreaker?

Yeah, £500 is, ohhh, just a little less than half our monthly income at the moment (yay for being disabled and/or a student!)

The head sculpts on the set are amazing. Swindle's alone turned it from something I never thought I'd be interested in to an object of desire.

Had a go at transforming Cyclonus and it was mostly enjoyable except for not being able to open up the final section to get the end of the nose folded out. I tried levering it open with a small screwdriver and snapped the screwdriver in the process which was annoying 'cos it was one of my set of JIS screwdrivers I got as a Christmas present a few years ago

Anyone else had any trouble with this part of the transformation?

The thing about that Hellboy gag is that it's clearly a riff/homage on the original (better and weirder) Steve Gerber bit!

A catastrophic attempt at undoing global warming leading to a global Ice Age instead apparently. French Comics, innit?

The barrel of his rifle is just big and small enough to get some leverage, yours must be extremely tight if it snapped a screwdriver mate o_O

Just had another go and I think I was applying pressure in the wrong direction hence the snappage. The price paid for getting impatient I guess

The good news is that I really like the overall transformation and the alt mode is a nice improvement on the Deluxe one from a few years ago. Just a fantastic figure all round! :)

ah no, even desaturated the highlighted bits stick out like sore thumb for me. But I get your point though.
Just ordered yet more New Age stuff from TFDirect! It’s going to be fun....

He is a very good figure. A little stilted in terms of articulation but feels wonderful in hand and has a great vehicle mode. Started out as the base sculpt for a V1 of Tarn as well, which is mad! Visually he's more Milne I guess, as opposed to Roche/Lawrence. Old pic of mine..

    Regrets,I'veHadAFew.png

I ended up letting him go in the end and have ordered the regular colours SXS one now I'm back on a MTMTE trip. Looking back on old posts I'm amazed it took me this long to jump on the SXS release.

This glorious barsteward arrived today a day early from Amazon:
    IMG_20210121_225735.jpg

I haven't opened him yet as I am mesmerised by that amazing box art. Certainly smacks of nostalgia.
Skelator and the 'I Am He-Man' book should arrive tomorrow.

Also, another round of thanks goes to @Siege Fan for the tip-off that Smyths have Origins He-Man for home delivery, so he has just been ordered as well.

Wowsers. Assaultus is rather pretty. Haven't really dipped into 3p much at all, but some of those mmcs are quite tasty... Erg.

I think the mismatch in the yellows is more noticeable under certain light conditions.

Yep I still have a brand new ER Sunstreaker that I can part with...

Hey Folks, I’m new here but lurked without an account for a while.

I heard the Omega Supreme reissue was delayed in the UK. Is this so?

Also, is the Jetfire reissue on schedule for this month?

    Thanks!

    Welcome!

Both are still January pre-orders at BBTS so February at least for here I'd imagine.
