I'm intrigued by the IM1 set at $70. Guess 3 or 4 figures, given we had the Mark I for 10th anniversary I wonder whether it could be Mark II and III, possibly with Iron Monger. I really hope they're new figures rather than rereleases of the 2008 figures.

I'd rather have an IM2 set though updated Marks IV and VI, plus War Machine.

Hope she makes a speedy recovery.

Siegehide is best - I didn't see any need for them to even make Earthhide. I could see an argument for EarthRatchet - especially to have two different moulds for the two characters - and I think he suits that mould better - but Siegehide is best.

Oh, Risehide is undoubtably lovely, I have his van brother and it's my favourite Ratchet ever, although I love the OSKOMP and Siege sawbones too. Plus PRID and all the Bayratchets. Had the G1 for my birthday back in the days without names, he was a favourite in the Marvel comics and remains so to this day. Although shipping him with Drift is hella folly and Drift belongs with Rodimus anyway, two airheads together. Ratchet should be shipped with Megatron, just because of the Best Marvel Cover Ever. So there! (One does not spend over ten years living with a Supernatural fangirl without shipping becoming a way of life, whether one wanted it to or not.)  

I'm totally able to remember I was talking about Ironhide, of course. But what did he ever do other than be red and fail to shoot Galvatron? Most pointless repaint in all of G1! Heck, Cliffjumper is red too (sometimes) and Warpath is even redder and that's probably racist given his name, isn't it? Oh dear. Will have to put him with Cohrada and Saberback, which of course is where Deputy Arhnhade belongs. Gawd demmit.  

Anyway I prefer Hawkeye Pierce to John Wayne, hence my life in hospitals when not drinking everything in sight, and wistful gazing from windows at the outside world, close as a hardworking mirage can manage. Would be a rubbish cowboy anyway, it's the camping trip that never ends.  

tl;dr: I skipped Risehide because Siegehide is more cussed an' ornery and painting Bluestreak white doesn't make him Prowl, it just makes him look like he should turn into an ambulance, which Ratchet does better.  

But it's good to like Risehide because he is a great toy and looks just like him, in his best suit to appear in court.  

And thus I dodge the Enablerays I nearly got myself with for a minute back there, and escape to buy more toys another day.

Rattrap probably doesn't fit but I'd say Rhinox and Waspinator still fit in nicely. They always were a little more on the bulky side of things.

Reminds me of last year when I got a second mafex homecoming spiderman months after my first one turned up. Was thinking 'Do I sell this for a little money?' but no, emailed the shop and sent it back to him. I think it's human nature to have that instinctive 'how do I profit off this' reaction, but you gotta do the right thing at the end.

@motorthing they are both good. If you do have er hide already as well, I'd say it's a matter of how important is the vanette mode for you? And that shield/rocket launcher? If the answer to both is not very, then stick with siege as it sounds like you prefer that figure. And you could probably sell the er hide for a tidy sum. And if you don't have the er hide already, then it saves you a lot of hassle.
