Any MOTU Origins collectors - Amazon currently have Skelator for £14.99 so just picked him up along with Battle Cat.

I've also picked up a 'Little Golden Book' entitled I Am He-Man for £3.86 which will be some bedtime reading with my youngest lad.

Many thanks to @Siege Fan for the heads up on the Origins stuff - I've been tracking Amazon for the past few days!

To be fair, if the new Skids isn't a full on u-turn back from toon accurate aesthetic, you'd be okay picking up MP10 or MP13, say. They are great figures that capture the character really well.

You could get those without going too far down the rabbit hole. Once you get to MP22, you start the descent into toon, and then it's difficult!

The vast majority of figures between 10 and 22 are Datsuns and Lambos, plus tapes for Soundwave, so other than Wheeljack and Bee v1, you've only got the Seekers.

Point being... unless you specifically want a bunch of Datsuns or Lambos, and if you're into ER you've got them in mini MP form, there's not much left there before you turn toon.

Aww shucks, cheers guys! A little more below...

Doc Brown loves the ladies it would seem! Gigawatt is glorious isn't he?
Can't wait to get my grubby mitts on X-panse and Maverick. Wasn't Maverick meant to be out already?

Holy balls that is one amazing lego down. And jealous at you having Hot Rod! Can't wait for that pre-order to dispatch.

You know, I can cope without the waist swivel, but definitely would have preferred more robust hands. the guns just fall out of the big lads mitts. And yet, still my favourite Magnus to date.

It warms my putrid, gnarled heart to know your dog has vexed you such. :p

    Mercy at Autobot City

In this alternative universe, Hot Rod isn't the guy who got Optimus killed, but the hero who warned Autobot city with enough time to prevent them being caught completely unaware.

I sometimes feel I should wheel out a quick, rubbish, 'shop of the Gundam meme about the DJD - to me they're fancy fascist fanbois designed to show the true banality of evil, they're not enjoyably fun playtime pantomime baddy evil but, BOY, was Roberts ahead of the curve deconstructing that in disposable fiction, eh? I laugh at 'em but I feel no desire to own 'em.

Many thanks for more birthday wishes ^_^
@MyTea Boc I too know the pain, the little nephews absolutely love it and go nuts for anything babyshark related. It goes without saying, us points scoring aunts and uncles have therefore bought them all the branded nonsense pinkfong put out, all of which sings baby shark.

He's also witness to a war crime, Elita should probably deal with that problem sooner rather then later.

I can't not hear baby SHART poo, poo, poo-poo when that song plays.

It's okay, she's in good company.

@we_are_forest Glad to help! Is there anyone else you're after?

@MyTea Boc You wait, at half 3 some morning you'll detect a sulphur smell and WISH something was burning! :p :D

Thanks! I think it's the best way to include Rung with him looking ridiculously out of scale. Can't wait for the MMC one though!

Does anyone have experience of panel lining? I have bought a few Zoids and intend to add some details (panel lining is a certain, weathering possible). It is a long time since I did any GW painting.

Just wondering if I go the Gundam marker route or paint...

You could probably go either way, but from what I've heard Gundam Markers seem like a better option.

Looks good. I opened Blackarachnia today as well, really impressed. I think I'd be happy with an oversized KO of Terrorsaur to go with (with that Japan only cartoon deco).

Yes! I build Gunpla and I have tried my hand at panel lining TF toys too. If you're just going to add some detail, I'd go with the markers. Liquid panel liner gives the best results, IMO, but you can run into issues with the thinners used weakening and cracking plastic, so I'd save that for full paint jobs. I'm only just getting into full paint jobs, so most of my kits are panel lined with painted details and sometimes waterslides and/or weathering. Let me know if I can help with anything!
