And the black smoke monster is anubis, the Egyptian God? He did judge ben and anubis judged the dead souls. And is that a giant statue of sobek? Or is the statue of anubis and the smoke was summoned from the underworld by him? It's hard to tell if the statue and hieroglyphs are a jackal or crocodile. Is this island and entire series a falling out between Egyptian gods?

Cracking open Iron Factory Big Boy Magnus this afternoon. Really hoping he fires up my spark for their work again. It's gone from my favourite scale and style to 'Oh, you still exist?' following the dominance of the WFC Trilogy. Which is no way to treat awesome toys. Fair play to John Hasbro, like. They fucking nailed it.

 

I finished breaking bad at like 2am yesterday , had a choice between going to sleep like the 33 year old I am or watching el camino like I was 16 again .. so I grabbed a bowl of frosties, had a cig and watched el camino. I liked

having something of a resolution for Jesse but I think it was implied by the ending of BB that he gets away and has some kind of positive conclusion... I don't think el camino was necessary and nothing really interesting happened in it.

My favourite bits were the flashbacks to the old timeline even if some actors looked noticeably different

I guess it might have been different if I didn't treat it like ep17 of season 5 by watching it immediately after .. maybe would have enjoyed it more as a standalone much later

With how film financing works (massive loans that rely on the opening weekend to ensure the studio isn't paying a million a month in interest fees), no guarantee audiences will be (able to be) there, or even just audiences so out of the habit between Plus and HBO Max... Bumblebee flopped, Netflix WFC: What's Wrong With This Thing? didn't really set anyone's pants on fire, and from memory there's only a true kids cartoon in the pipeline. I'd imagine Beast Wars isn't even currently on the backburner tbh.

Quick question to the informed here..... I decided I wanted a Bruticus and specifically the Warbotron version. But it wasnt available so I managed to pick up the JinBao version. Now its still in its box, and there is a reissue of the Warbotron version coming for about 20 quid more than I paid for the KO. Given that I have the JB KO, is there any reason that I would want to pick up the Warbotron version? What are the key differences* (advantages/disadvantages) of the Warbotron vs JinBao version? Thanks.

* I have watched the Toy Dojo and Bens videos on these. Toy Dojo imply that the JB version is basically superior while Ben implies that its good but feels like a KO.

 

Totally agreed. At first he felt like a bit of an odd one out in Siege wave 1, not being an '84 guy, but once you had him in hand he was just too much fun to worry about such nonsense. I do think having no good Decepticon Deluxe in ER wave 1 soured me on that wave. If only they'd held Spinister back!
