Now Scorponok would put me into a dilema. On the one hand, as I said, I am not a huge fan of the reissues, and he would be pretty expensive. On the other hand, he is the only Transformer from my childhood that I have ever sold.... and I regret it. And, he has always been my favourite baseformer. Hmmmm....

Fort Max is bound to do well. Sure he's on the pricer side of things but given that collectors are now willing to drop $500+ for a single third party combiner, there's bound to be even more who are willing to spend less to get an iconic figure that up until recently was considered one of the most expensive to get a hold of.

I have a feeling that if we do see Scorponok it will be next year. Fort Max is already a huge expense and has generated such a buzz about a line most of us had stopped paying attention to. Ol' Scorpy would certainly get us to pay attention again next year.

If he comes out then I might pick him up, he's bound to be less than Fort Max right? Right? :lol

yeah, Stampy's was a rabbit ear scissor thing. Though to be fair that does look a bit suspect, perhaps one to catch on the drawing board

"this is what his weapon mode looks like being held by someone"
"ok, but it does kinda look like he's....."

    As it says on TFWIKI about Break;

"He also his a third (highly questionable) "Buster Mode" cannon-form that can be held by larger Transformers, though it tends to fall apart due to mere gravity. Some fans have affectionately called this the "super-mega-poop-attack!", as the missile fires from the penguin's rear. "

    NEXT-next year?

Not if things go according to plan... and currently that plan's a steady supply of reissues throughout next year, medium size and higher ticket.

I'm not sure things will though... flat economy, etc. There's already been a fair bit of pushing back and juggling.

I meant announcing and putting up preorders about this time next year for the big guns. I know we're getting Devastator soon (an easy pass for me).

Overlord would be a favourite for sure, just hoe he's high on the insider list as he probably gets as much interest as Fort Max does due to recent exposure in IDW.

The thing about bigger reissues is that the price is likely to be pretty high. Look at the recent Sixshot re-release as an example.

Saying that however I'd probably happily buy Overlord (Would prefer an updated one) Skorponok and Black Zarak.

If they were to do Overlord now though then he'd end up having hollow pieces and being voyager sized. I'd rather see the original reissued for £170. That sounds about right and would be fantastic

Ha, i love that little back and forth, brilliant,

Erector - how much you asking for target 2006, is the titains edition the same as the g1 UK comic,

Dude you must buy if he gets reissued,
I hate, hate the thought of selling and regretting, especially one from your childhood,
I remember selling my G1 snarl on ebay and i totally wished i didn't,
I ended up speaking the buyer and asked him if i could buy him back,
The response i got was "yes but double the price" i wasn't gonna be held to ransom, so my heart still stays broken:(

    In other news,
Man oh man i need me some i-gear coneheads
So far no reply to my want thread,
My only other option is an ebay seller has all 3 together for around 300sheets,
Its a good price i know, but i don't know if i can drop that sort if money,
Also there is no way i could escape a custom charge, (can you imagine the size of the box with these 3 badboys in it)
Im now a dirge fanboy, just love the way the masterpiece figure looks, all blue with umm bits of yellow...
    Great,

Honestly, given the fact that these retailed around that price (mine came in at $430 shipped on the pre-order discount - I ordered the very day that they became available), and the fact that they are no longer made or available, I dont think that you will find them for much less than the £312 on eBay, and I dont think that they will be any cheaper in the future.

If I had the cash, I would probably pick up a second set at that price and be happier than if I had ordered Fort Max (but, thats just me).

Just look at it as 100 a piece. Would you do it then separately? If so and you can afford to drop 300 on all three at once then I'd do it. Especially if your really pining for 'em.
