My weekend has been finishing up the Pyro commission I’ve been working on for months

    73AD9D1E-A5D7-46C4-8043-47A45D79FABB.jpeg

and yesterday I decided I wanted my trainset out for the first time in 3 years

    D1D2BBFD-14C8-468B-97D6-6D8679177932.jpeg

When I am complete on the Netflix line and have the Beast Wars characters from Kingdom I am going to build myself a layout, the continuous running is nice to watch but I have really enjoyed shunting trains into different configurations (farm traffic, passenger, permanent way etc) so it may end up being a mainline station with a decent sized goods yard. (Mostly Thomas stock on there but the loco is a BR Jinty I bought recently having a rest in the shed)

Not really the right forum I suppose for it but it brings me pleasure

Disappointed by the lack of giant robots menacing trains!

So, for a spooky night my schedule made it so that I read one of IDW's most grizzly and praised stories, the Last Stand of the Wreckers. It sure lived up to expectations, although I didn't like how they killed of just over half of the main cast, even some of the original Wreckers weren't safe.

I'm debating if that face scuplt should bother me, if I'm never planning to take the helmet off (because that is not the way)

If you've not got the previous version of that armour or the seperate release of The Child it's a decent all round package with some different accessories, the unmasked head is probably the worst thing about it.

Oooh nice news about tiger Upper cut.

    Wait... Freddy was the baddie?

    Love it.

Happy Halloween everyone! Spent an hour this afternoon with great safety making up trick r treat bags for the wee hallions to grab from a bucket at our front door. Damn near cleaned out within 40mins. Apparently lockdown was not a considerable stresser for the neighbourhood kiddies.

Quite proud of the Halloween display.

Currently chilling and watching the devil rides out. Because it is one of Chris Lees very best.

Todays final Halloween pic is the Unicron spawn himself conjuring up God knows what from his cauldron.

Never let tarantulas cook for you

What do you folks reckon next? The conjuring? Halloween 3? Something else?

Halloween 3, or the recent reboot.

@DeadBiscuit Can't promise anything, but try Comics as they were cheapest when I bought there.

@MyTea Boc We had a bowl of treats at the ready, the porch light on, and a glowing pumpking in the front room window but not a kiddy or winkle came by, sadly.
I blame that stupid, scary, straw-haired clown!* ;)

only in the first couple, after that he was very much the anti hero for me! Loved Wes Craven’s New Nightmare, made him scary again for me.

I was never old enough to watch a NOES film in the cinema, so I really enjoyed Freddy vs Jason when it came out. Yes it was OTT ridiculous, but got to see Robert Englund as Freddy on the big screen at last.

Met him at a comic-con in Brum a couple of years back and he’s a genuinely nice chap. I can recommend his book too, some great stories in there.

Thanks, I'll take a look. Was mostly tempted by FP as he was so cheap.

In happier news, I finished Soundwave's bling bird. He's my first custom, the paint is a bit everywhere in places but Hasbro's QC isn't always much better and I've not painted anything smaller than a wall in years! Either way I'm happy as Hasbro don't look like they'll release him and I had Soundwave & buzzsaw so they're a bit of a favourite.

Anyone know if there's going to be a MTMTE upgrade for SS86 Cyclonus... Or in other words, do I need to buy two Cycloni?

Haven't seen the reboot yet. Might give it a go

You can't blame the clown for all your problems dude! My street goes mad crazy for Halloween. So many families, so always plenty of wee ghosties running about. Some of my neighbours really go all out with the decorations too.

New nightmare is so underrated. And freddy vs Jason is just guilty pleasure of the best kind. Read earlier there was pitch meetings back in the day for Mike myers vs. Pinhead. Dunno how thst would have worked, but fuck I'd have watched it!

£70 when I bought mine! So probably the same price as FP after postage.

@MyTea Boc Usually only old skool horror works for me after seeing so many of them as a kid lol, but the Halloween reboot doesn't muck about and makes Myers genuinely brutal.

I like 3 because it's creepy as shit!

Round here it's decorations everywhere but kids don't go collecting!
