Anybody want to go halves on an MP Thundercracker from the US?
Works out around £65 shipped to the UK. If you're near Sheffield or Leeds I can save secondary postage.

 

Yeah i knew this would be the reason why my idea would be hated,
But apart from the leg shins he doesn't have any real problems,
Yeah the transformation isn't the best, its fidderly annoying and not much fun, but if the mold was shrunk all they would need to do is simplify the leg shins,
A smaller hotrod would make total sense seeing as he grows to prime size in the 86 movie and its a big size increase,
Much more then the 1/4inch size diff on the actual mp toy,
They wouldn't need to incorporate his leg changing size gimmick, his matrix chamber, his 2 faces, i think it could work,
But yeah it won't happen,

 

The problem that I would have is that the original needs millimeter alignment to get him in alt mode and roll properly. If a third party had a go, they would be very unlikely to get that right (Takara almost didnt!) and the alt mode would be really hurt by a little less attention to detail.

Hopefully some 3rd party will come up with one. I for one would love to have a Hot Rod in my display that will be in line with the new MP's like Sideswipe, Red Alert etc.

 

Actually, I think i would like a smaller MP09, however I agree it needs simplifying.
For now he looks great next to mp04 as Hot Rod, but nOt sure how he'll look with MP10.

But even if you don't show the alt mode, don't list it by the specific name, you can't discount the possibility of someone reporting it anyway.

lol I see the SOD effect is in full swing! You've still got lower to sink yet my friend....I fully expect you to drop into the relegation places. Bright side is you'll end up at least mid table when he has his typical Champions form mid to late season

Sharps been poor, but its not his fault as hes had absoloutely no service whatsoever.

Yeah, the whole side has been awful recently- hopefully it will pick up. Hes brought in Jenas so he should add even more quality to the midfield.

I just wish hed stop bringing in so many midfielders- he cant play them all

So tempting, even though I'm really not convinced I want him, just because I know it'll be in so much demand...

But there's no way I can justify just under £300 for him

 

The shipping will be at least $90 as well...but damn, that's happening in April. It's a toss-up for me as to whether I go for this or actually get serious about joining the 501st.

 

Even at £300, it's still 5x what I paid for my MIB original, but I reckon it'll be worth stashing one or two.
