There's been some positing that the core class Fossilizer might be more a Battle Master and be one weapon but I think that this may be a case that not all "Fossil" characters will actually be "FossilIZERS" as the Fossilizer blurb is prefixed to Paleotrex's blurb but not VB's, and they'd surely show it on the back of the card if such a thing were going on but nada?

 

I got sent another link earlier for a UK seller I'd never heard of doing the Quint Pit but by the time I clicked on it, it had sold out. Sold something on eBay earlier so could cover the deposit for a set but now the fucking thing is due next week and no-one is taking deposits.

Not 100% sure how I feel about the Allicons and Quintessons. In media they work as an extra level of antagonist and in the world building toolkit. However there is something Happy meal about these nonformers that I find both pish and oddly charming.

Stood next to the beautifully designed war machines of the Bots and Cons in their Classics/Gen guises, the Quints and cohorts look archaic and seemingly belonging to another toyline and age group. I know that's rich for me to say as an elderly man into toys, but these goofs are very much Primary school standard as they weeble and wobble their rotund ineptitude around like animated bendy Bullys and tankards.

All said though I still want two more Allicons,
though I still resent not quite knowing why exactly.

Just to add to the pain of anyone else who missed out on the quint pit earlier, the first UK pit has appeared on eBay...

 

So rather than the Quintesson Pit for £99, I instead invested in eBay purchases of the Siege Micromaster 10 set and a Combiner Wars deluxe class Groove.
I’ve fallen hard for the micromasters so figured I’d get the expensive stuff out the way first.

I’ve been looking at the combiner war stuff and I know it’s old news but somehow all the four original scramble city guys got screwed with a replaced/@altered member. Menasor got Offroad, Defensor got Rook, Superion got Alpha Bravo and Bruticus got Quickslinger in Blastoff cosplay. Then somehow the correct members got released as special editions.

Anyway I’m late night rambling and the deluxe Groove is an investment towards a proper Defensor later on.

 

Unite Warriors version of Combiner Wars keeps it original and fixes that.

Nice work on the Siege Micromaster 10 Pack. Where was that? Can never find them on eBay.

Cheers gents. I am interest in the prospect of being able to combine the whole boney crew into a metal as fuck dino-bone combiner (in the same vein that more creative fans seemingly find incredible ways to combine the Weaponizer lads into larger bots).

Unite Warriors tend to be very expensive on eBay at the moment. Especially against the price of the combiner war versions. But when I factor in the cost of the exclusive Groove, Blast Off, Wildrider etc it seems fair enough.
As for the micromasters I found mine listed as siege micromaster 10 pack. I just did various searches using micromaster in it.
They’re preowned without box but still cheaper than the listed price on Amazon USA.
