Does anyone here have any experience with a website/company called alza.co.uk?

I beleive they are based in europe and have some good deals on some stuff I am looking at and they have it instock unlike the UK retailers I have searched.

I dont mind trying new sites with small orders but I dont want to risk £100-200 without any information

I'm sorry, Netflix Siege, but when a Tokusatsu show from 15 years ago has more energy and drama in its action sequences - never mind the extremely impressive tracking shot in the newest show - you're doing something wrong. And I overall liked Netflix Siege.

In other news, this week's episode of Ultraman Z had a genuinely great fight scene.

In other other news, Bombshock and Growl are pretty good little figures. They'd be even better if Growl would stop falling over.

You need this, even if you think you don't.

    ...

Is it my imagination or has the price of Hasbro stuff got a little higher in some instances at Comics and Cocktails relative to ID and the like?
    ...

Anyone need the Shadow King head from the Professor X set?

I've watched Siege now and I'm in the thumbs in the middle camp. There was nothing close to the drama of say Dinobot's death or Wheeljack facing off against Soundwave but there was nothing as stumblingly bad as the Machinima offerings. It achieved what it set out to do, give us a slice of the war on Cybertron conveying the stakes, tone and scope, it just didn't manage the level of flair and excitement I was hoping for. I'll certainly watch the next instalment though.

A heads up for the schmup fans (I know there's a couple on here) with an Xbone. Ikaruga, and a couple of other games, are free on the Xbox Live Japan site. Ikaruga

I haven't played it for years and crikey it's even harder than I remember.

I think I'm in a similar mind. It isn't as good as I hoped, but not the worst we've had. I liked the last couple of episodes where they have a few more characters and more alt modes!

I've gone for a hedge-bet on WFC Bee and Elita and bought them on Anime Export. Yes, I know they won't come out for six months. Yes I'm aware of the arseache involved in shipping half way around the World right now. But this is how low my level of confidence is in Hasbro Whoever getting those two into my hands through usual retail channels after November.

Anywho....they worked out at £15 a pop so not too terrible at least.

    And sticking to free stuff Future have made a few of their e-books available this past month or so. PDF format and some of the titles that'll be popular here I'm guessing are;

    Star Wars Movie Art
    80s Movies Celebration
    80s Video Games

They all open and work for me fine on a standard PC, but mileage may vary depending on the device being used.

Ikaruga for the win! The insane thing about Ikaruga is how easy some of the reall tough sections can be when you hit your flow. I used to be able to chain the first two levels, and most of 4 and 5, but for some reason I could never crack the third level and that is where I'd vent lives.

I wish I'd played Radiant Silvergun first, as it's a brilliant game with some excellent weaponry which enables ever level to be played perfectly once the game is learned, it just doesn't have the simple elegance of Ikaruga.

Riddle me this, chaps, I was just doing a cursory look at which ER TFs Amazon UK are directly stocking themselves, and not only is Exhaust one of 'em he's got a weird double-promotion offer thing of £1 off choosing Non-Rush delivery AND a a kinda £10 cashback in the form of an Amazon voucher if you successfully sign up for an Amazon Platinum Mastercard?
I mean, is it me or is that one thoroughly weird combo, though effectively a £16 Exhaust such a strange offer to be attached to a toy?

Still not finished Netflix Siege. I think that in itself is quite telling as I started watching Siege on the day of release (Wednesday or was it Thursday last week) and haven't finished it. I have, however, watched all of Series 2 of The Umbrella Academy, that was released after, has more episodes which are all longer per episode.

I'm also thinking of cancelling my Selects Centurion pre-order, it's £30 for a single deluxe figure I have very little affinity for (though I was thinking he'd make a good standing in for Slammer). Most of the accessories wouldn't get used and would probably end up stored away, so yeah that £30 could go towards the Conehead pre-order. Problem is, I'm also not convinced over the Coneheads either, it's sixty-odd quid for the pair and then I've got to try and secure Thrust, who could end up being over £30 if it's a Selects or exclusive release, so near on £100 for a trio that I've already got in deluxe scale. Yes I know Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp came to around £80, but I dunno. Between the Coneheads and Centurion that's a potential £130 saved. Bloody firstworld problems...

Well, if you're thinking about re-jiggling the ol' TF investment funds I might suggest hanging on to that Centurion order as an asset to flip, as the set seems to be pretty much sold out, and might make a little moolah to put towards your eventual decision?

Both of those are site-wide as best I can tell, the £1-off is on Prime orders over a tenner, and the card thingie shows up everywhere, so it's not as if they're doing their best to shift poor old Exhuast XD

Fair point well made. I did pay the full balance as well, so the money has already come out of my account.
