Thanks, I'll give it a look in a bit!

No idea if it's the case in this scenario but sometimes cartoons have broadcast seasons and production seasons, where one production season might be split into 2 or more broadcast seasons.
Though, UK sites and channels have a nasty habit of being quite far behind and/or splitting seasons up themselves. For example Steven Universe had five seasons, a movie and an epilogue season but Amazon would have you believe it has 10+ seasons as they seem to have split the first season alone into like 4 seasons. It's very confusing.

Edit: So I finally got my mitts on Hotlink recently thanks to a friend who has a Smyths nearby, however I find the pegs that hold the nosecone together in alt mode worryingly tight. I assume due to paint. Tight as in I had to use something to pry them apart again. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm guessing I could lightly sand the sides of the peg down a little?

This thing is a fiddly fucking pain in my ass, but a wonderful figure to pose and photograph.

Typical Netflix "Season" Apportioning the sum total of the "7 Seasons" will be effectively equivalent to 5 network TV seasons I'd wager.

God, siege and Earthrise has proved expensive. Admittedly, I have had to play catch up and I have managed to pay some bills and save some of the money from the MP and SS sales but glad we are in a lull at the moment.

There are still a few figures I want to get from siege but given the seeming scarcity of ravage and laserbeak I might have to wait until ER soundwave is released to get these. Plus, I didn’t even realise that I actually wanted knok and Skar until i had DD in hand it was too late so hoping for a restock of these at some point.

Not complaining, enjoying the line a lot. We’ve been given some cracking figures but my wallet is glad of the respite!

ER seekers hopefully today, fingers crossed!

edit: checked my shipping confirmation from ID Toys and must have cheaped out and chose their free shipping over £50 option which is 3 working days so more likely Monday for the seekers :-(

Up to 3 I think, with the writers saying they had plans up to 7. They hadn't announced the renewal status for S4 up until today, and then they have just gone and given it the full run!

Accidentally went in to Smyths today and accidentally bought Scrapface… At least he is a different colour to Reflektor!

Okay, so learning that Scorps' shoulders are just four screws away from opening I thought I'd take a look in there...
    DSC_0048.JPG
...and I couldn't help noticing that this weakling, being pointed at above, isn't as "boxed in" as the outward rotations' tension spring to the left. There's a bit of play in the space it has, and I had an idea that if it can indeed jiggle about a bit in there then shoring up with a bit more spring tension might help.
Then I remembered I had one of these left from my KO & POTP Dinobot joint reinforcements experiment...
    DSC_0047.JPG
A 0.5mm thick spring steel coil 6mm diameter of 10mm overall height of coil.
Except it turned out I didn't have one spare...

    -I HAD TWO! SCORE!

    So I did this...
    DSC_0049.JPG

    And then this...
    DSC_0050.JPG
...in both shoulders. Wedging the spring coil centrally in the plastic spring, and reassembling the shoulders with the coil up against what would become a nice lateral barrier that will (hopefully) help keep 'em in place.
I was worried that the compressed springs might make 'em too tight but it turns out they were in the Goldilocks Zone now they're nowhere near as seismic a click as Fort Max & Metroplex's joints, and they're still pretty buttery-smooth but they're just that bit more definitely locked in while raised, not super-tight but they no longer flop with a gentle tap or shake. They stay in place unless definitely moved - RESULT!!!

41 today. Blimey. Swear I only just turned 29. The last decade has flown.

Siege Scorponok tonight. Trying to wait as long as I can.

Popped out for a change after four months of lockdown, it's very nice to see so many people with masks (four months too late) but far too many people don't actually have them covering nose and mouth. Not sure what they think holding the mask will do, presumably if they see Corona viruses in the air they will quickly put the mask on.

Plenty of Doubledealer in my local Smyths today, never seen so many of one figure I wonder if he’s in a solid case by himself?

He’s a beefy boi, definitely a fantastic update to the original toy. Mine does have a loose right arm but it’s almost just tight enough to hold up his weapon. Luckily most of his joint and 5mm pegs are pretty tight. Anyone got advice for a quick fix to tighten up a pin joint? I haven’t transformed him yet. He’s borrowing Ratbat and the red companion to soundwave   until I can get my Selects pack in, should be tomorrow! Will provide a link to where I got them later. ;)  I came up with a fan mode blaster for “Rumble” so he has another use and then Ratbat is some kind of crossbow. Makes sense to me for him to have a lot of weapons considering the mercenary thing.

Thanks to @Siege Fan for the enablement of Ironworks, picked up an extra 2 today.

I’m going to make an “Omega Guardian” trio mech to go with Omega Supreme as his modulator companion. Brunt is going with Scorponok who I didn’t find today but plenty of Sky Lynx available if anyone is still looking to get one. Same with Netflix figures which gives me hope to find Bumblebee and Elita-1 later in the year. Still thinking about getting Decepticon Mirage as a twin character called Wraith. Bit like Prowl and Barricade.

    Tata for now :)

    Happy birthday (again)!

Of course we can see the Coronavirus sneaking up on us.

That was the whole point of 'Stay Alert' wasn't it?

    Hope you enjoy Scoponok.

Honestly if all you did was take Ironworks out of the box and attach other bits of Ironworks' to him you'd still be onto a winner!

    Has yours got loose hips?
I'd open 'em up to see if they'd put the plastic loop springs the wrong way round like that fella's gammy Omega Supreme shoulder was misassembled, and if they're assembled correctly, well, then, maybe a bigger spring of appropriate size and tension might be the solution?

@CZ Hazard :bday , Sid, you Spring Chicken!!!

EDIT: For anyone else wanting to shore up their Scorps' arms, I got my springs from HERE, works out at just under £4 a pair with a multibuy offer running currently.

    EDIT II:
    DAMMIT, Daimchoc!

    Happy Birthday @CZ Hazard!

    Enjoy Scorponok this evening!

yes, I want to the shops yesterday and whilst everyone had masks I did notice one dopey mum with her mask slid down, uncovering her nose and mouth; so exactly what good do you think that’s going to do??

Transformed this guy to Turkey mode; transforms perfectly serviceable, not the best figure by any stretch but not really getting why all the hate. Wish I could display his decepticon logos in this mode though... without being upside down, that is

Favourite leader class toy in ages, breezed through the transformation once I figured out how the legs actually work. Just another MP-44 situation where there’s a correct order and they work fine. My only complaint is that he has loose elbows, both of them!

I think he’s also one of the only figures that really makes use of all the 5mm ports he’s chock full of weapons and with an extra to spare for the other powermaster engine.

Now to decide whether he’s more good or bad? Thinking bad for now..whole new avenue of playability. Makes me want Exhaust!
