I do love me some combiners, the Combiner Wars line is what got me into collecting Transformers again.

On a related tangent, seeing someone post a pic of Magnus with Jetfire's rifle (sorry, I forget who) reminded me I wanted to try it with Bruticus and I think it suits him pretty well!

Springer update, I don't know if I got a bum hand with the QC or what, but it's just one problem after another. I managed to get the car mode to "work" after a bit, only to discover that yeah, the ground clearance really is that bad. Then I went to helicopter mode, only to find out one of the shoulders doesn't click into place, leaving the front all crooked. I don't understand how back in Titans Return they could pull off Voyager triple changers so well, only for Siege to drop the ball so badly. This, combined with my discovery that Brunt isn't actually that good for combining with itself (and the fact I bought a total of four of them), and today's been a bit of a struggle TF-wise. Springer can be an awkward one. Everything has to be lined up perfectly, and misalignment of any kind, no matter bow small, can stop him coming together. He should have clearance and be straight in car mode, though i do struggle getting one side of the roof plugged in every time.

Just hoping the shelf keeps it together. Should do. But it's a worry.

I feel your pain, got extremely lucky when quarter scale Shredder fell without breaking anything... Attached picture frame D hooks to the wall and cable-tied him and his brethren to them without it being noticeable!
    ...

I would never have thought to spin the chest piece around and attach the engine to the cassette peg!

Yeah, I find MS a mixed bag - they’ve done some of my favourite figures ever but also some ones I’ve found really frustrating.
I never had if bruticus, but yeah, he looks exceptional.

    That Guzzle looks great!

    Great set up.

I have to wait for Doubledealer... got an invoice for him but not Skylynx who he was ordered with. I know they will sort so just waiting for the other invoice now.
I think I have enough to open this weekend anyhow...

Just realised I missed out on the Brunt restock. I could have sworn I'd ordered, but went on to ID and I must not have proceeded to checkout. Bugger!

Can you post a pic of the underside?

Springer was a massive sleeper hit for me but had to watch a few reviews to figure out that the spine needs to really SNAP down twice in the proper config. The helicopter sides are a matter of aligning the whole shoulder struts properly [hence asking for a pic of the underside].

I always found Brunt a bit...meh. Def on the mediocre side overall, but nifty tank mode.

I love that Toyhax's response to too many people waiting until sales is to stop doing them and offer a really small loyalty discount... instead of thinking, you know what, maybe paying a 1/3 of the original figure price is too much for stickers and dropping the prices a bit would be a better long term solution and might bring more people in...

That's so easy to do at ID and a few other sites.
