Oh, I only wish I had PrimevsPrime's early access to figures! I always post his reviews here cos I find them helpful too!
    ...

One of the best Marvel Legends waves in years, buy them, only my Parker head has party backbencher eyebrows and the Murdock head would snap the peg if you weren't careful.

Edit: Oh man! I totally forgot about Tiffany! This is the best rainy Thursday ever!

    Or as someone once said:

    "Bright like the Sun
    Travelling the Universe
    Shining the Eternal Light...
    ...follow the Meteor."

    or was it

"Eyes I dare not meet in dreams
    In death's dream kingdom
    These do not appear:
    There, the eyes are
    Sunlight on a broken column
    There, is a tree swinging
    And voices are
    In the wind's singing
    More distant and more solemn
    Than a fading star."

I reckon so. Can't exactly fit the full Titan onto my deceptileader shelf, so this way Scorponok still gets to have a presence.

I'd take a Starscream repaint, definitely.

However, it'll be interesting to see whether there is an OS KO version done. :confused2

P.S: For Exhaust or Garagebot wanters I could only find 'em under "New In" items and not on the Transformers WFC pages, that might just be me though?

Comics & Cocktails is a pathway to many preorders some consider to be... unnatural.

I agree! That is Zdzisław Beksiński, one of my favourite artists.

Some examples (and by no means all the best ones; might have posted some of these here before):

There's a gallery of his art in Sanok in Poland (saw it on the trip before the one where I was bought Animated Oil Slick in Hel) and if you're ever in that neck of the woods (I wasn't ever expecting to be but ended up standing on a tank there anyway) I highly recommend it. :)

Also, Hasbro should release this just for jolly wouldn't-you (but sadly won't):

As an aside, I finally received Scorponok yesterday & I just can’t. stop. staring at him. As someone who loved him since I first saw ‘The Rebirth’ some 30 odd years ago, this is the figure I’ve been waiting for all this time!

If you’re on the fence & ever wanted a toy that him justice (especially the cartoon version), you won’t regret it. He’s gargantuan, so poseable & utterly glorious!

Thanks for the heads up. Jumped on that.

Made some custom masks ready for furlough to end in August. The Transformers one is okay, but the other one is the best mask in the history of masks. Also not pictured is a Spidey lower half of mask mask which is quite nice.

This might be a request to punt in the Creative Forum, I think there's a Digibash Request thread in there?

In other News, I may have further self-enabled by remembering that Takara put out Greasepit & the Gas Station as the Autobot Glasspit & Gasoline Base, so I might need an extra Greasepit - even if I don't run with him as a base for a Rack'N'Ruin!

    Tomorrow belongs to you!

    ...

    What?

Sidestepping questions of Omega as I'll not have the chance to change him from base mode for bit (though I do remember finding him more fun to pose than Max) a quick check on the bathroom scales shows that both Fort Max and Scorponok are 6.2lbs. The scales aren't super reliable but they're good enough to show that there's little difference between the two in weight.

They've both got, more or less, the same amount of articulation. Fort Max has got wrist and fingers, and Scorponok has ankle tilts and...claws (plus scorpion legs, but get real). The ankle tilts definitely contribute to Scorponok feeling more poseable, but it's actually in the stability and smoothness that I feel the real difference. When I move Max's arms or legs, his entire body shudders. Minor adjustments feel like they'll threaten to capsize the bugger, which does not make him much fun for me to pose. And while all the ballast you've added to the legs will certainly add something to the stability of him, I don't imagine that'd make much difference to his arms, which are just as frustrating. A lot of the wobble seems to be coming from his hips and thighs, which do feel very slight.

Scorponok feels a lot smoother and those minor adjustments are less anxiety-inducing. When I move his arm, or his waist, or his thigh, the rest of him stays very still. When I look at the two of them, particularly in profile, the difference in their proportions is very striking. Max has massive lower legs, and big forearms, but the rest of him is very slender, particularly his thighs. The difference between Scorponok's lower legs and thighs isn't that great. Both their legs have three sections. Max has the uninterrupted section that runs from his hip nearly all the way down to his knee, whereas Scorponok has a hip and thigh section that are, give or take, around the same size. I think this sort of more even distribution adds a lot to stability also. Also, even disregarding his tail, Scorponok's chest has a lot more depth.

This might not be exactly answering the question you were asking, but it's hopefully still some use.

    Telt ye!

Thank you for being a friend. Traveled down a road and back again. Your heart is true. You're a pal and a confidant.
