Still think that the Siege Prowl mold is superior to the new Smokescreen one, it’s really not bad. His feet do suck but honestly if you get a good base he stands fine. Barricade had a loose knee but besides that nothing is making me want the new one.

They're from the Fans Hobby Grotusque I think.

I've just flipped it out, it's the base of the ramp in city mode.

So I was going to write an article about this but I'm too lazy.

Looking at the sheer amount of product teased/rumoured across a range of characters encompassing almost all the first 3 seasons to be coming and the sheer level of faithfulness to g1 models I kind of feel like hasbro knows how far 3d printing is coming along and wants to take advantage of the collector appeal/market for g1 nostalgia/mini mp style figures while it can before we are all printing our own. Of course there will be some that want the official figures for collection reasons but how many of us will delight in printing whatever character we want whenever with as many accessories and custom parts as we want for a fraction of the cost?

The main reason I feel this applies to tfs is firstly I think their blocky robot designs make them easier to reproduce on a printer after all you aren't going for human faces or smooth and shapely anotomical body parts. Secondly is the factor of size, just look at printformers Scorponok, he's selling the files and you can buy and print your own for less than the official scorpy, at the minute it's not quite as polished but you can pick your size and he's done max as well. How long before somebody designs a Unicron you can do the same with that's a fraction of the cost of the official? After that point it will be cheaper to buy a printer (£200ish) and the files then print a Unicron than it would have cost you to buy the official figure. How long before that applies to a titan due to lowering costs of printers? How long before you can do the whole ark crew cheaper etc.

    What do you guys think?

Sadly it's the Fire Engine KO I was considering for Hosehead, and I'm still not 100% on it either. When I see the right robot bod I'll know, I just don't yet!
I'm on a similar track but I don't believe that they'll entirely surrender to it but rather they'll try surf that tide, I reckon since about Combiner Wars they've been building a copyrightable library of licensed Transformers engineering that they'll be able to sell files of to peeps once 3D printing really gets ubiquitous to keep a possible avenue of sales open.

Welp, I failed at snagging @Fort Max's Space Mini-Con Team this afternoon BUT it was a massive help as the auction gave me a ballpark figure to aim for on the set being offered by a different seller, which I've now snagged for a Fiver less than the bar set! SCORE!
Over my ideal world £16/£17 quid BUT fings crossed all goes well my Sky Lynx SHALL have his ASTROSCOPE, uh, and a couple of other hangers-on!

Congrats, now you’ve given me the idea to do the same, I’ve just got to dig out my ones that came with Energon Ultra Magnus. I’m unsure of which house they are in, let alone which box :lol  Good job I don’t have Skylynx yet:)

This evening I had a go with my new camera and it looks like it'll be decent enough, just got to get used to how this one works after having my other one for so long.

I've ordered MFT Highbrow from Show Z Store who looks like another cracking update of the Unique Toys original, really looking forward to Mindwipe and Skullcruncher too!

    EDIT
Tier 2 extra for the HasLab Sentinel is now unlocked and it's a battle damaged head and hand.

It's that moment when you realise you could easily sell 6 Fanstoys figures and more than pay for Hasbro's entire line up for a year!

You could probably cover up a big drug profit by saying that you offloaded a bunch of Fanstoys products on eBay...

I still wonder why people complain about paying for MP-44 but gladly fork out the same amount for another character no problem.

Someone pointed out to me that it's more likely Cyclonus will be in the last ER wave since Galvatron is showing up in ER artwork and they're more likely to keep them together.

I like that guy. Thanks for posting his vid! I also need several Slitherfangs.

Putting guys or gals who aren't in the actual chapter but them coming in the next one has been a thing throughout WFC though, f'r instance 'Jackie was on a Siege box or two.

MP-44 has an appallingly bad record of paint defects and chipping though. I don’t like spending anything more than £60 on a toy (I’ve never bought a titan lol) but I can see why people would prefer a 3rd Party figure to MP-44. Too much unnecessary accessories included in my opinion.
