The script is completely ambiguous as to who becomes what. It was left up to the animators, who didn’t give a tinker’s toss. Basically no-one gets to decide who became Cyclonus any more.

They’re really good. Darkwing in particular is one of my favourite combiner limbs. The only thing they fail to do well is the combined jet mode, which is a bit sucky. But otherwise they’re pretty ace.

Well, the new Transformers game looks underwhelming. I'll probably end up getting it when it's cheap though.

Speaking of gaming, the PS5 is pretty. I'm unlikely to buy one for the first year or so (I only got around to buying a PS4 last year...), but it's nice to look at.

Robot-wise, I'll almost certainly pass on Dead Optimus. It's nice, but a), I don't have space, and b) I really don't need to relive that trauma on a daily basis.

Oh, right. I confused Transformers with Time Force.

Nice. To be fair was it ever in any doubt - Bombshell was hardly a nuanced and calculating second in command lol.

Nice. I parted with these when i had my purge. Disappointed me we didn't get a set e.g. Bugly, Iguanos, Stranglehold and the rest.

    Instabuys.

Now here is an interesting thought.

One of these figures is a deluxe and the other is the next size class down....

(Yes, I know I’ve not included Cliffys gun and yes, he’s pretty great and super poseable - but what a difference 10 years makes!)

It's a shame the scout class wasn't used more for classics back in the day, rumble and frenzy are beautiful as well and the tfcc rewind and eject repaints.

Pleasure, and glad to hear it's all sorted.

yeah, same. That's always been my headcannon. With Scourge being reformatted from Thundercracker I always appreciated the symmetry of the other 'betrayed' Seeker becoming Galvatron's other lieutenant.

I like your style. Yesterday, when strategically torturing a couple of colleagues prone to 'passive resistance', I thought I'd connect all my TR and WfC bases before responding to their 'urgent' emails. All the Titan and Prime Masters look awesome spread through this city (along with a smattering of Micromasters, I'd grudgingly admit).

I tell you what, when Scorponok, Slitherfang, Airwave, and Doublecrosser all show up any 'TF city' fans are going to be in for a treat. Now please give me Metroplex and the MM bases in WfC:III plz? Christ, it might even convince me to pick up that rumoured RiD Prime.

They're fine. Splendid for what they are (inventive CW Aerialbot retools), but definitely not satisfying if you're looking for a kind of WfC 'definitive' version of the characters. If you've got some money to burn, and you're not too precious about the above, then I'd grab 'em.

    BFF'S!

The United Frumbles still have pride of place on my ‘84 Detolf to represent those guys. Jury is still out on if they will be switched out for the new ‘Micromaster’ versions...

Randomly looking at 3rd party items and, even though I haven't read a TF comic in decades, I love the Iron Factory DJD bots, seem a decent size, plenty of articulation and quite fun. Anyone here have them?

I won't be replacing them, but will get the micromaster ones so I have tape versions for Soundwave/SoundBlaster.

I do need to order a new set though of the United versions as my OCD kicks in with Frenzy having 2 right feet! (and then maybe see if someone on here wants to try a dye job with them)

Oh man, we had the Master System version of Desert Strike as a kid! My Dad and brother played it more than me though... I think it was in the category of games I enjoyed watching others play more than playing myself :D
I THINK my brother got the PC version of Jungle Strike but I don't think he got far in it/enjoyed it much.

Is it wrong that I misread that as Dumbatron and wondered who was cruel enough to name a Transformer that? :lol
