You uncouth bounder you! You... you rapscallion. You miscreant.

    Ye Skunt!

Ugh. I hope Ironworks doesn't end up being the Chromia of Earthrise. I'm pumped for Wheeljack and Cliffy-J, but I'm more drawn to the new fella in all his browns and yellas.

It might happen. Came into work this morning to find out a few events I was meant to go to in the next few months have all being postponed. Hopefully not, but don't be surprized if it does.

An Post are a bit useless.
Wait... Smyths are getting Soundblaster in a few months?

I once had someone tell me I wasn't a 'true gamer' because I didn't spend a few hours per evening on gaming message boards. You know... rather than spend that time actually playing games.

Folks of that mindset are gobshites of the first order.

Sup dudes. Really enjoying Impactor, even better at £12.99 from Smyths. Crosshairs and Spinister are great fun, too. After selling off everything (again) and rebuying, I've now just got those three and Red Alert for a 'not really any mainstream characters' shelf in the Detolf.

I might get Earthrise Wheeljack and re-buy Siege Barricade, but the ones that have really caught my eye are those Netflix repaints. Beautifully colourful and daft.

Also, got a few bits left for sale at reduced prices:

(All prices include P&P, deals on multiple buys):

    CHUG
Classics Ultra Magnus - missing roof gun and rifle but comes with two swords - £5

    Movie
    DOTM Topspin £7
    DOTM Murderbee £7
    ROTF Sideswipe £7
    07 Barricade £7

    G1
    Jazz - incomplete, yellowed £5

Bunch of Mighty Max toys from the 90s - mostly the smaller sets with some accessories that don't necessarily match, in varying states of completion. £10

    Fall of Cybertron Xbox 360 - £4

    @MyTea Boc,
My standard operating procedure for dealing with such gobshites has been whittled down to a couple of words, I don't get why they need to try and dictate to everyone else what the rules are for liking or disliking anything.

And like many things social media has only exacerbated the issue with self promoting egotists declaring themselves "influencers" right left and centre and acting like they're the sole authority on a subject.

All they influence me to do is turn the sound off and that's even if I bother watching their videos :D

Okay, so the floor polish arrived and it isn't the Pledge 'Klear' stuff I actually ordered, but what I'm calling Pledge 'Milky'. Can/should I even use it? Pic attached.

I swear to Rung, online ordering for me is just wall to wall fuckbaggery at the moment

It, ah...It doesn't bode well to find ourselves for us to find ourselves at the mercy of single-packed Waves again, like our @MyTea Boc that does make one worrisome that either Hoist or Ironworks end up as this year's Chromia. Literally doubly ironic being the half of the Wave I was actually after! Hasbro, we do actually quite like buying your toys, y'know?
On a similar note Amazon US have dispatched my Soundbarrier.
Yes, that is not a plural. It is indeed singular. They have dispatched one.
The other two are yet to set off but have the same ETA of March 24th.
No, I don't know how that will work exactly either. *Sigh*
I'm with @Carboreeta, I suspect if a moratorium on public gatherings hits it'll be aimed at sooner rather than later, so Spring/Easter conventions/gigs/etc. will be the most likely at risk.

BBTS has Hoist and Ironworks in but not the rest... Fucking Hasbro, they've only had since 1984 to get shit right like.

Yep, it's why I only use Facebook for sending messages to a couple of people and limit my YouTube reviews to folk that don't try to make themselves more important than the thing they're reviewing as for the most part I only want clear footage of a figure so I can see how it transforms and what the articulation is.

TFN have responded to a query about “large-gatherings” and the Corona-virus on the Twitters. I concur with my learned colleagues that it’s late enough in the year that it should all have settled down by that point.

Went into Forbidden Planet to get my weekly dose of DC Comics, picked up these little guys to tide me over until the deluxes decide to make an appearance.

I work in the journalism side of the events industry and plenty of events have been cancelled, mainly festivals and a couple of conferences but quite a few are still going ahead. I do think the fear of CV will reduce numbers though.

my main concern is I have theatre performances in a couple of weeks, another in May and tickets for The Killers and HellaMega Tour this year. Really do hope it’s here for the season then dies out with the warmer weather (that is said reports of it being in Australia don’t fill me with confidence)

Official advice from the Government is business as usual (no opinion on that as I don’t want banning). Hygiene will be the make or break with washing hands whenever possible, not taking electronic devices into the toilet and cleaning regularly, coughing/sneezing into elbows or tissues should help. But there are plenty of dirty backstards out there who will drop their guts and walk straight out without flushing let alone washing their hands.

If masks become mandatory for events so be it, less likely to get con lurgie that way

Well, at least with postage it's not so far off what I paid Amazon US!

Don’t worry, I’ll have one soon! There’s a B&M close to where I am, I’ll get him there or in Belfast.

I was a hot wheels addict too, not enough castings of older cars though.

Let me know if it comes to it.

Yeah, I've been buying Batman or just quirky ones. Plus they're ever-changing so something to flick through when I'm out!
