Thanks to @Jtprime17 for finding and posting the listing blurb for Deluxe Arcee
Which both intrigues me as I wonder if said hoverboard will be A.I.R.-lockable whilst also worries me slightly as...
...is exactly the same number of steps as Chromia, and if she's a heavy retool of that Fembot bodytype she might just be an easy pass for me.
The IDW art seems to be leaning that way too.

I'm just not enamoured of that design without the Combiner functionality. Roll on Toyfair, eh?

Heavily tempted by Earthrise Screamer despite it looking, like others have commented, a backwards step from his Siege predecessor. Haven't jumped on Prime. Which is odd. But they really dropped the ball (for me) with the eye colour. How easy is is to split the head?

I really need that to be an Earth car as opposed to Cybertronian... Before we knew anything I was actually hoping for a bike cos that would mean inevitable re-uses...

I'd reckon not easy unfortunately, due to WFC return to gluing over screwing, add to that the fact that the back of his head is painted blue (over red plastic according to some reports) that's some difficultly level raising when it comes to prising apart without needing to repaint.
If one were to be brave enough it might be necessary to apply @tikgnat's Patented Kettle Method™️ to try use some steam heat to weaken the glue before prising?
Or the more expensive way might be to use the front segment of an ER Prime head on a Siege OP rear section (in the event that separation ruined the ER back section's paint)?
I might advise waiting to see if he gets a yellow eyes/darker blue "G1 Toy" recolour down the line.
It's the Earth Mode that gives me hope it may not be the case, so Fings Crossed! I'd prefer a range of builds and bodytypes for my Fembots, thank you, Hasbro!

The Reconstruction Of Bruticus. Restored script no.8 is up at the archive. Had to give up on a couple of minor bits on page 36 and 37 as I can't make out the line at all.

    Red and blue boys.

I'm umming and ahhing over TFN. Last two years I've done just the Saturday and I might do again. Definitely going to drive up again as the train was a bugger. But I kinda feel like I'm missing out by not doing the Sunday as well. And on top of that the past two years James Roberts has had his panels on the Sunday so I've not caught one yet.

Some quality Sherlocking there my dude.

Amazon UK has a few quid off the new smaller Lego City sets like the street sweeper, cop car, and monster truck sets if that's your thing... Those are the ones I've gone for, as I realised I can build a small city area with just a few 'cheap' sets as opposed to going mental with the overpriced facades that take up far too much space... So, food trucks, services vehicles like fire and police, then a fucking big dragon. You know how it is. I mean there's full-on arctic tundra just across the way - global warming, ain't it? Shit gets weird quick!

Heading to Belfast tomorrow, hoping to get a few robits. Have siege deluxes been seen in the Entertainer there?

One last bit before moving on. I do like this gag on page 22. Apparently Brawl normally has the impulse control of a five year-old.

I was in a few days ago and the TF section was packed but Siege-wise there was only two Starscreams. Their site however has some older Siege deluxes listed so you never know. Forbidden Planet was down to a couple of more recent deluxes like Mirage and Impactor at £20 each. Smyths at Forestside had Thundercracker and Megs about a week ago. It's fucking slim pickings in Belfast...

I hope that's on a ball joint lol.

No it's snapped. It should rotate, it did rotate only it was the plastic joint tearing. Looks like the joint was stuck.

Ouch! I noticed it didn't easily rotate so I just left mine as was, but they should definitely spin!

Just ordered those new Earthrise listings from Amazon (Arcee and Alicon, see news page) - at £22.58 each they're having a laugh, but hopefully that won't be the final price and it's good to have options in terms of eventual cost and availability. I'll cancel them if need be. Could wind up needing dupes of them anyway if the alt modes are good.
