    Somewhat off topic, I’d just like to say that the 1970 version of Jesus Christ Superstar, featuring Ian Gillan of Deep Purple, is fucking excellent.

    The right leg on my Prime refuses to tab fully shut for some reason. Started happening recently I just haven’t had time to examine the area.

    Also loving my new iPhone camera. It’s making my bots and cons POP.

    one more week until payday...although I probably wont be buying any robits...nothing is on my radar yet as I am waiting for ER. But I am looking at grabbing the new Diamond Select PS4 Spidey figure and the new WWE Goldberg fig. Taking easy on the plastic crack as I think I want to get a wheel stand for my PC/wheel, I do love my new wheel but the ergonomics with a desk are not optimal

    @Napalm,
    Best wishes to all concerned in dealing with a tough situation Jon , I hope you can all get the support you need. My own folks have their issues as they're getting older and I'm on the front line for assisting which is challenging because my Dad's so stubborn and getting Mum to do things that're more positive and not let her health issues own her is a daily struggle. We help as much as possible without question because it's family, but that makes it harder to deal with because seeing someone you care about decline in any way isn't easy.

    @Skyguy,
    When I was an MP collector I somewhat regretted getting the Fans Toys Reflector over the Make Toys one as I loved how the translucent green plastic on the chests looked so with Legends I won't make the same mistake...surprised Magic Square did that though as they usually stick more rigidly to the cartoon colours.

    Perfect Effect Reflector is safe though as he's been doing quite nicely on the Iron Factory Decepticon shelf and I also think as an overall 3rd party figure it's standing the test of time very well as it remains one of the best designs in terms of how well incorporated all the bits and pieces are, it's partsforming done right!

    As far as 3rd party originality goes my proverbial hat is tipped to Toy Wolf for their toilet based robots which stick out in the best possible way, more insanity like this and I think the 3rd party scene would become more intresting again because as much as I'm enjoying the various Legends stuff it's getting a bit like the MP scene with several companies competing to do the same characters in more or less the same style and it makes things a bit predictable.

    After watching the latest episode of the Manchester Muppet Show last night I watched Despecialised Empire Strikes Back and some of the extras including the Family Guy stuff and an amazing anime style short called TIE Fighter.

    Empire was always the movie that was least fucked with and whilst I liked the change to have Ian McDiarmid as the Emperor in the hologram scene I still prefer the original release so I'm happy to have a version of that again...I'll be using my 2004 DVD's as coasters from now on :D

    Funnily enough she literally is, as in an actual Ex-Army Iraq Vet, but, yeah, she's for sure made of sterner stuff than me! You're doing damned fine yourself, good man!

    I think the Fanstoys one look better proportioned but I do like that translucent green as well. Plus the self contained transformation is very cool of a little difficult getting it lined up right. I’ve always been happy with my choice.

    I think the PE Guys fit better with the Iron Factory look but I’m going to switch them over for a bit to see how they look.

    I’ll grab the Newage set when it comes out as well but I feel I’m more likely to get the Toy colours version which I’m sure they are bound to do. They are the kings of recolours.

    Just a quick PSA to fellow UK thread Siege effect parts users who don't get out of the boat: Beware plastic erosion, it's come up via the old PSA Melting Plastic thread that it seems the rubberising agent used to plasticise them can have a similar effect to Bludgeon's tracks, etc., long term if left on a part too long. I'd be particularly cautious about painted effect ports & pegs, as well as the more polished, less porous ones. In my experience they don't seem to tack so much to the more porous plastic parts such as Battlemaster gunbarrels and Springer's swords but I'd advise caution all round and recommend using effect parts temporarily only, not as a permanent display option.

    Thanks for the heads up, removed all mine from my figures after seeing some posts on Instagram earlier about the Jetfire piece in Omegas cannon warping or snapping off after a month of display.

    I wonder what exactly is in them that causes them to react to each other so badly. You would think that being blast effects intended for this purpose they wouldn’t actually do this.

    I think it's because they are rubberised plastic and not actual natural rubber which would perish pretty short term if used as effect parts, rubberised plastic will last longer whilst still remaining pliable BUT the downside is the rubberising agent, well, works on plastic, dunnit?

    Not my thing. I kinda thought the Stealthwing version looked alright, because we're not exactly short of Jetfires but a new character from a 3rd party tends to pique my interest. But since it's nearly £100 from Kapow and I don't like it nearly that much I've never really bothered.

    Has Siege Soundblaster been spotted in shops at all? If that was around for a decent price I might be tempted.

    Not likely, I'm afraid IIRC he was an In Demand Exclusive in the UK. Do IRC? It's getting hard to remember who got what with all the exclusive divvying up that's gone on in Siege!

    Hmm, that’s interesting. Thanks for the nugget! Omega creeped into my peripheral vision when I saw the post because I had him laying siege (wink wink) to my decepticon shelves with blast effects coming out of every “orifice” and I swiftly removed them.

    No interest in Moonracer or Air Raid, but I did sell some stuff on Discogs so that's TR Twin Twist finally picked up and Mrs Ottertron got me 4 Cyberverse Scraplets from work. SCORE.
