To be fair, a lot of vintage UK kids tv was pretty dark! Grange hill had its fair share grit, and does anyone remember the animals of farthing wood? Christ. The hedgehogs got run over, vixen got her ear ripped off and kestrel went feral and impaled the mouse family on a thorn bush! If I recall correctly that is, it's been a while!

Well, lest we forget. We were a generation raised on Public Information Films from the 70's and early 80's that were still being shown during kids' TV into the mid-90's. I remember BBC would show some of them at Closedown to REALLY get the nightmares going.

Thanks! Been dying to overpay for him but I already did that once last year with Spinister, so...

    A present from past-me has arrived - past-me has excellent taste. :p

Incidentally, the Tyrantron parts that came with him are of no use to me so if there's anybody who wanted those, but not this chap we might come to some arrangement. ;)

Or with his wee fellas maybe...

Well, that's a lie, seeing as they've never been parted, this being their first meeting, AND this is my first Spinister & Targetmasters to boot! :p

Had a bit of a nasty stress mark on my copy from the central core pin's shooting but a quick spin thru Kit Tang's Patented Kettling Technique™️ pretty much sorted it (I might give it another go tomorrow to try getting it totally cleared, there's still a slightly lighter patch there), had a bit of the same education on the hip aligning as @tikgnat, despite the forewarning (I blame tiredness), and some tough, tight tolerance on his feet's heel pegs for chopper mode, which has given me another respect-but-not-wowed impression on first transform. I do think it'll grow on me like Springer's as as we go, I'm already highly amused that a helicopter called 'Spinister's transformation does sorta essentially break down as...

Thematically on point transformation is pretty damn genius after all! :lol

SIDENOTE: Ratbat is mint. Rumble is...er, here? I'll be saving the Battle Squad for tomorrow, don't want to overstimulate this tired head!

Oooh. I need to source some kind of Double Targetmasters for Spinny. Will need to grab a Singe (at some point) but what about Hairsplitter? Hmm.

    Oooh and this arrived today.

Gonna pack up the (barely touched) PS1 and set up the Saturn again. Seriously... so many PS1 games and no real urge to play any except Wip3out. My Saturn though... I'm just sad it got such a roughhousing from the PS1 back in the day.

There are a couple of post in the radicons section where people have added bigger wheels and it requires no actual permanent modding and it doesn't hinder transformation. I hope some enterprising 3rd party clocks on to the idea.

Minor/Repaint: - siege crosshairs lego wheels

    Minor/Repaint: - Siege Crosshairs Big Wheels 2.0

Weeeeelll, as a bit of an admitted full transformation queen I'd say that a couple of those efforts have enough (admittedly minor) hindrance that would niggle me, the leg panels being pushed that bit out are enough to put me off.
And I'm not a fan of too obvious LEGO. They are clever solutions though.
I hope you get what you're after, Liam, but I have my doubts it'll happen (mainly 'cause of the character's cache or lack thereof, IIRC in both the Western and Eastern media the Targetmasters were overshadowed by tne Headmasters), and if they do they may come with quite a price tag (unless one of the TFSafari 3D printing lot take a swing). I'd be happy to be proven wrong, and might even indulge myself if I am and it ain't too pricey for me!

If i could redo them, I'd go marvel legends instead of selects. Still, an impressive little group. Just waiting for that mafex spiderman reissue to drop an invoice on me to finish them (I've replaced hawkeye with war machine). And maybe an a3 poster to hang up behind them. I'll never forget going to a Transformers dealer/collector's home 15+ years ago and seeing all of his reissue exclusive collection displayed in vehicle mode. I'd had and sold many at that stage, but seeing them together, I knew I had to re-create that one day. I'm still not done.

Well that's definitely the effect I was going for with the second pic, I think my original caption for that was something like "Mom, my Transformers: The Movie VHS is acting funny!" :)
